The engineer arrived before sunrise.
Nobody had expected him to come back.
After his warning the day before, Elena assumed he had already left the city.
Instead, he was waiting in the lobby when she entered headquarters.
Same dark coat.
Same worn briefcase.
Same tired eyes.
The receptionist looked relieved when Elena walked in.
"He said he'd wait."
The engineer stood slowly.
"I don't have much time."
Elena glanced toward the elevators.
"Then come upstairs."
Alexander was already in the conference room when they entered.
Julian arrived moments later.
Mateo came in carrying coffee.
The engineer refused one.
He placed his briefcase on the table.
Then opened it.
Inside were old blueprints.
Hand-drawn.
Folded.
Yellow with age.
Alexander immediately moved closer.
The engineer pushed the papers toward him.
"Original foundation plans."
Alexander unfolded the first page.
The room became quiet.
Warehouse One.
Warehouse Two.
Warehouse Three.
