The corridor stayed open, but everything inside it changed.

Morning dispatch still started before sunrise. Trucks still checked in through the north gate. Drivers still signed release forms and waited for route assignment. Forklifts still crossed loading lanes with pallets stacked high.

But the rhythm between Elena and Alexander no longer matched.

Meetings became shorter.

Messages became colder.

Most conversations stayed inside terminals, reports, or route approvals.

No extra words.

No wasted time.

Elena arrived early that Monday and went straight to the south corridor office. She dropped a folder beside the dispatch terminal and checked overnight movement reports alone.

South route delays had increased again.

Three carriers requested update meetings.

One partner suspended weekend freight until compliance review cleared.

She opened another report.

Alexander had already added restriction markers across two lanes during the night.
