It's been days since I was locked in the cold, damp dungeon, the guards barely yell at me anymore, as they did when they were very angry at Ragar's death in the first few days. Everyday was bread, water and sleep, I had nothing to do, no training, exercise, or anything at all. If I had to say I felt something, it would be wrath, hate for the demon that caused this to happen.
"I hate her...", I still curse her under my breathe every now and then.
I can't tell whether it's day or night down here, but everything changed when the guards outside had been repositioned.
"Hurry, kill the intruder!"
"Where the hell did he go!?"
"He's over there!"
The knights were scurrying around the place, and screams were heard. Blood were pouring down the stairwell, pooling down on the ground.
"... ... ...", there were noises closing in.
A shadow cladded figure walks out from the stairwell.
"Hey there, darling... Want me to save you?"
Their voice was high-pitched, but not high enough to be a woman, but too high for a man.
"Who are you? Do I know you?", I'm very confident that I don't know anyone like this.
"Awwww, did you forget me?", this time, it was higher pitched.
"W-what do you mean?", she is definitely a woman from the sound of her voice.
She walks closer and pulls my chin up to look at her face. Her eyes were hazel, the same hazel as mine. Her hair was also light pink, just like mine, but it was shorter, like a men's haircut. But something was off, her eyes were focused on my eyes, and her cheeks were bright red and flushed.
"I can't take it anymore...", she huffed as she leans in close and kisses me, pushing her tongue into my mouth.
Wait... What the hell is going on? Why is she kissing me, and is this really the right time?
"Umm... Who are you..?", I asked in-between her kisses.
She looks straight into my eyes, like a piercing spear.
"You don't remember me..?", she responded quietly, with a hint of sadness in her voice.
"Can you please free me?" I hope she can free me from this prison.
""Sure... if you promise me something", she waits for my reply, demanding I make a deal with her.
Well, as it is I'm stuck here, so might as well, right?
"Fine, I agree to your deal, so what is it"
"Just repeat after me...", she said with a soft yet somehow suspicious voice.
"I vow to stay by your side as your lover no matter what happens. If I fall in love with anyone else I will die a thousand deaths and my soul shall be offered to the demons of hell", she talked slowly and smoothly as I repeat.
Wait... did she say be her lover!? No way in hell would I do that!
"Oh, and since we made a vow, if you break it, it will actually happen", the girl added after seeing my shocked look.
