After Luna and her siblings left to speak with the king, Mark stayed alone with Ely in the throne room.
And with the place in silence, his intrusive thoughts didn't take long to surface.
These caused his gaze to end up settling on the throne that stood empty before him.
'No,' he thought, trying to hold himself back. 'Don't even think about it.'
Mark kept staring at it a moment longer.
'Well… a quick sit can't hurt anyone, right?'
And before his common sense could stop him, Mark walked up to the throne and dropped into it, making himself completely comfortable.
He let out a satisfied sigh as he did.
"I have to admit it… Luna's father had good taste," he murmured, stretching. "This is way more comfortable than the one I have back home."
Mark shifted slightly, sinking further into the seat.
