The single letter that had appeared on the tunnel wall continued to burn with darkened moonlight.

As Elara looked at that letter, she understood that it was not only writing. The letter did not seem to stand on the stone. It was as if it was watching her from inside it. The broken ring on her wrist trembled slightly. The thin orange line inside it became more visible beneath the darkened light.
The Moon Spirit's last sentence still remained inside her like a cold echo.
"The first letter of my name."
No one tried to speak right away. Even Talon did not open his mouth to make a joke this time. The mechanical pulse coming from the end of the tunnel filled the silence in the room piece by piece.
Elara finally breathed. "I will not think of your full name."
The Moon Spirit answered from inside her, very low. "Do not think of it. Do not try to feel it either."
Kael's voice came from beside her. "What is it saying?"
