Two blasts, which was good and which was bad?
The question hung in Aegon's heart as he thought of this. Obviously, the first blast was intended to kill him.
Therefore, it wasn't a good one. Although, the blast that came afterwards wasn't directed to him but the monster. Were they helping him?
"Don't be ridiculous. Of course not. The monster damaged a part of the forest and it is probably getting back at it, right?"
It was obvious what was going on and Aegon had already begun to analyze it, but still had some questions left unanswered.
"Who are they?"
He had his gaze at the serpent which had just gotten a massive hole on its chest, body. There was healing from such a wound.
However, after it had been hit, the monster dived back into the ocean as though using its last strength with a strong will to survive.
Aegon had seen the monster as it went back into the ocean; water splashed as it jumped right in, but it didn't look intentional.
