Elias was more nervous than he had been all night, when Sienna led him through the quiet corridors of the hotel resort. She had booked out one whole floor for herself and Elias.
When the door opened, the room revealed itself like a secret world: walls painted in deep ocean colors, ceilings rippling with projected waves, and wide glass panels offering a breathtaking view of the penguin habitat outside.
The penguins waddled along icy rocks, diving into the water with playful splashes. Their cries carried faintly through the soundproof glass.
Elias paused, his eyes drawn to the sight. "You rented the whole floor?" he asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.
Sienna smiled, slipping off her cloak. "I didn't want any distractions."
He pointed his finger at the penguin habitat. "I would say they are a distraction."
