Sienna's hand shifted slightly, her nails grazing through the fabric of his trousers. His tail thumped once against the chair leg, betraying his agitation.
She smirked. "Your tail is excited."
He cleared his throat, trying to regain composure. "Are you enjoying this?" he asked through gritted teeth.
"So very much," she said sweetly. "And for the record, I am behaving. If I weren't, I would already be under the table."
Elias's ears burned crimson. He glanced around, checking if anyone was watching. The restaurant was quiet, the servers and guards far away, absorbed in minding their own business. Still, he felt exposed, vulnerable in a way he had never allowed himself to be.
