When Sienna's offices were moved out of the city, Elias had given up on the dream of stopping by her office at random times of the day. He didn't expect her to show up to his office at lunch time, balancing a lacquered lunch box in her arms. The guards outside waved her in with grins.
"Lunch delivery," She announced, glancing at the mountain of paperwork on his desk. As she set the box down she said, "If you keep glaring at paperwork, you will starve. Your father is free and he needs a distraction, you should give him some of your duties. A burden shared is a burden....." She grimaced, "I don't know how to complete that statement. I just wanted to say something clever."
Elias raised an eyebrow, but his lips softened. "You worry about my father more than his parents and children." He rose from behind his desk, picked up the food box and joined her on a couch.
