Those who were looking could see it in her eyes, that she had not come as a simple mother, but a commander. Her cubs clung to her side, bandaged, bruised, but their eyes gleaming with anticipation.
People froze. Some parents rushed to hide their children behind them. Some teens remained smug, figuring she would not lay a hand on them because they were children.
The bottom of Sienna's dress fluttered in the salty wind. She looked at the the people through regal eyes, as if they were all below her. "Anyone that laid hands on my children and bee should step forward right now."
Not one person moved.
Sienna smiled threateningly, "I won't repeat myself. You were brave enough to do the crime, so you should be brave enough to suffer the consequences. It doesn't matter if you hide, as long as my cubs point you out, then today, you will learn the price."
