Sienna blinked at his question. "I don't know. For a moment, is amusing, but more impossible things have happened. I am human and I ended up as your wife. Maybe, fate will bring a falcon and a lioness together someday."
Elias made his tone gentler, "A human-beast man union is more acceptable over some unions. We got lucky because you got pregnant."
Sienna almost laughed. It was the first time he was speaking of their marriage in a positive way, without looking constipated.
"I have to say though, beneath your aunt's scheming, it is encouraging to see how she believes that her son is worthy of greatness. That belief, however foolish, is love." He added.
Sienna was skeptical. "Yeah, I think its 80% greed and 20% love. The boy's former fiancee was not a royal. She was an ordinary falcon beast woman. Why have Numia's standards risen suddenly, now that she knows she has some relatives with ties to royalty?"
