[Instructor Airin's POV]
The training hall had grown quiet after the scholars left.
Moving across the room, Instructor Airin gathered the small items she had brought for the session while a soft whistle drifted from her lips as she worked.
The melody echoed faintly against the tall stone walls of the chamber and mixed with the quiet rustle of her movements.
She went to the machine and retrieved the summoning scroll that had been used for the summoning of the simulated Scarix.
The scroll slid neatly into the metal box alongside several small crystal markers and a bundle of measuring cords.
Airin glanced around the hall to make sure nothing had been left behind. Her whistling continued as she closed the metal box and fastened its small latch with a quiet click.
She lifted it with one hand and carried it toward the exit door.
Reaching the control panel beside the doorway, Airin rested her fingers lightly against the switch that would dim the room.
