A Young boy had sort black hair, brown eyes and an athletic muscular body. He wore a red Jersey with no.7 printed on it.

Asher Staller.

Vice-President of the Basketball Club and 3rd year Student.

Unlike Ethan's intimidating aura that make him unapproachable and on other hand Asher gave off the feeling of a dependable senior.

He blew the whistle.

"Let's take a fifteen-minute break."

The players stopped practicing they relaxed immediately, some staff come with water bottles and towels.

Then someone opens the door and walked inside through the entrance. He wearing black jersey, white shorts and carrying a sports bag on his left shoulder.

It was Ryan.

As soon as he entered the court Asher noticed him. He calls him near and asked in calm voice.

"You're Ryan Carter, right?"

"Yes, Senior."

Asher smile faintly.

"Good. After the break over, join Team A for practice match."

Ryan said.

"Understnd."

Then he look at player who was sitting on the court and checking phone.

"Ryan will take your place for next round."

That player agrees after listen him then again checking his phone.

After minutes later break is over.

The whistle sounded again.

Both teams gathered on the court. Team A standing on the left side and team on the right side of the court each team have 5 players everyone take their positions.

Ryan looked at his teammates before taking his position as point guard.

The match started right away with intense action.

Ryan ran the offense smoothly.

He was making great passes, constantly setting up chances for his teammates.

"Good pass!"

"Cut to the inside!"

"Defense!"

There was constant communication on the court.

The vision Ryan had on the court impressed quite a number of seniors.

He was always able to anticipate where the open player would be even before others did.

However…

When it came to putting the ball in the basket himself, everything seemed a lot more difficult.

He went after the basket two times but he failed both.

This was because his present physique didn't have enough strength and explosive power to get him through.

Twenty minutes later, Asher blew the whistle.

"Game over!"

Before sitting down for rest, they clapped among themselves.

Ryan was seated at the side with a towel wrapped around his neck.

His sweat was dripping onto the wooden floor as he regained his breath.

'I am only capable of making perfect passes…

However, making shots at the rim remains tough.' He though.

His skills were from previous world was excellent but his body was from this novel world.

There was still a challenge that he needed to beat.

Asher walked towards him then extends his hand and gave him a bottle of water.

"You've got excellent vision."

Ryan accepted it complement from him.

"Thank you, Senior."

"But you're relying too much on skill," Asher continued. "Basketball isn't only about technique, you need stronger legs and core strength." He take a pause before continue.

"You're a like swordsman who has perfect skills 'basketball skill' but not perfect sword 'body' in your hands. So, it's naturally lost."

Ryan gave a small nod.

"I'll work on my sword 'body' definitely."

After listen that answer Asher smile and said.

"I am look forward."

Meanwhile…

Inside the Student Council Office, atmosphere was peaceful finally returned after 2 hours completing paperwork.

Claire Anderson leaned back on the sofa and holding a warm cup of tea on the right hand.

She let out a quiet sigh in tiredness because she has to do lot of work in past few weeks. She was monitoring and checking on fresher students.

"At last... a little silences."

Just as she lifted the cup—

Bang!

The door of the office opened.

Claire blinked her eyes for a moment.

Not again…

She already knew who was there.

With his customary self-assured smile, Ethan Vale stepped in.

"Hello, Claire."

She put down her teacup.

"Ethan."

"Could you kindly knock on the door first?"

He scratched behind his head.

"I did."

"You got in before I was done."

Claire just looked at him hopelessly.

"You're impossible."

"What are your plans for tonight?" he said.

"Well, I was thinking maybe we should have dinner."

Claire regarded him.

It was spoken with care.

"I'm sorry. I still have Student Council work."

"And even if I were free... my answer would be the same."

Ethan smiled bitterly.

"So that's another rejection."

Claire nodded.

"I don't want to give you false hope."

For a brief moment, silence filled the office.

Then Ethan stood up.

"Alright."

"I'll stop bothering you today."

As he reached the door, he paused.

"If you keep continue rejecting me then don't blame for crush you and your Anderson family..."

He turned and looked at Claire, she trying to composed in front of him to maintain her image as President of Student Council.

"Sorry to scaring you." he said and move towards her to comfort her but she stop him to came near her.
