Chapter 115 - Muzan Makes His Move

This—

Was his true opponent.

"Muzan Kibutsuji…"

Fear flickered in Muzan's eyes.

Back in the Infinity Castle—

He had nearly been struck down by Xia Feng.

He didn't know—

If his regeneration would work against Xia Feng's attacks.

And he didn't dare gamble.

So he had fled.

But now—

There was no Nakime.

No Kokushibo.

No escape.

Everything had gone according to plan.

The Demon Slayer Corps headquarters had been devastated.

Xia Feng had been blocked outside by tens of thousands of Demons.

And yet—

Here he was.

Standing right in front of him.

As if that entire army—

Had meant nothing.

Xia Feng stood ten meters away.

Calm.

Unshaken.

"You really went all out trying to destroy the Demon Slayer Corps."

Muzan grinned. "Isn't that only natural? They hunted me first. I'm just retaliating. Don't you think I'm in the right?"

Xia Feng didn't answer.

He simply raised his Nichirin Blade—

And pulled his other hand back into a fist.

Muzan's nails sharpened.

Killing intent surged.

"Don't think you can kill me, Xia Feng! The only person who could… is long dead!"

Xia Feng knew who he meant—

Yoriichi Tsugikuni.

The legendary swordsman.

Even he—

Had nearly killed Muzan.

Xia Feng smiled faintly.

"You're not that special."

"The consequence of arrogance…"

"Is death."

Muzan roared—

And charged.

He struck first.

But—

Xia Feng's fist was already aimed.

The moment Muzan stepped forward—

Xia Feng punched.

"Jet Pistol!"

BOOM!!

Muzan didn't even understand what happened.

A massive invisible force slammed into him—

Sending him flying backward.

Blood sprayed from his mouth.

He crashed through a rock formation—

Shattering it completely.

Muzan slowly stood up.

Shock filled his eyes.

Seven… eight meters away—

And yet—

He was hit.

What kind of attack was that?!

He stared at Xia Feng cautiously.

Seeing that Xia Feng didn't pursue immediately—

He stepped forward again, picking up his hat and placing it back on his head.

Dust-covered.

Damaged.

But his composure returned.

Xia Feng smiled slightly.

"Looks like it works on you too."

"Your regeneration… doesn't mean much against me."

Muzan's expression darkened.

He clenched his fists—

Then sneered.

"Don't get ahead of yourself."

"I am Muzan Kibutsuji!"

"The one who can kill me…"

"Is already dead!"

Xia Feng shook his head.

"Then I'll prove you wrong."

"Killing you… is no harder than killing a chicken."

Muzan's eyes turned blood-red.

His body began to change.

A black mist spread around him—

Something lurking within.

Then—

Flap. Flap. Flap.

Countless black bats burst out.

They filled the sky.

Swarming.

Darkening everything.

The entire courtyard—

Consumed.

Muzan laughed.

"You think you can kill me?"

"Let's see how you deal with these blood bats!"

But—

Xia Feng disappeared.

In the next instant—

He was behind Muzan.

"Isn't it simple?"

"Kill you—and everything disappears."

His blade flashed.

Fast.

Deadly.

Muzan barely reacted—

Ducking at the last second.

The blade missed his neck—

But sliced his hat in half.

A lock of hair fell slowly to the ground.

Muzan retreated immediately.

A chill ran down his spine.

That was too close.

Xia Feng shrugged.

"Almost had you."

"If I were just a bit faster…"

Muzan steadied himself.

Then smiled coldly.

"You're strong."

"But not everyone here is like you."

Xia Feng frowned.

Something felt off.

Muzan raised his hand.

The bats—

Moved.

They swarmed toward the Demon Slayers.

Attaching themselves—

To their bodies.

One by one—

The Demon Slayers began to lose control.

Their movements turned stiff.

Their eyes—

Empty.

They walked toward the courtyard.

Controlled.

Muzan's grin widened.

"Go ahead, Xia Feng."

"Kill me."

"I don't mind."

"But before I die…"

"All of them will die with me."

Xia Feng rested his chin lightly on his hand.

His blade hung loosely.

Muzan's smile grew wider.

He had found it.

Xia Feng's weakness.

Just as Kokushibo had said.

He remembered those words.

"Xia Feng may not show it… but he believes himself to be on the side of justice."

"And people like him…"

"Will always try to save the weak."

Muzan laughed softly.

Now—

He had control of the board.
