The few Demons that had eaten the Momotaro Dumplings nodded, letting out roars as they turned on their own kind.
The surrounding Demons were stunned.
They couldn't understand—
Why their "allies" had suddenly betrayed them.
Xia Feng seized the opening.
Forming hand seals rapidly—
"Multiple Shadow Clones!!"
Thirty clones appeared at once, each holding a Nichirin Blade.
"Water Breathing, Tenth Form—Constant Flux!!!"
All thirty clones struck simultaneously.
For a moment—
The path ahead of Xia Feng became completely clear.
Wide open.
But—
With only 20% of his strength—
After unleashing the technique twice, the clones were quickly overwhelmed, dragged down by the Demons and dispersed into smoke.
Still—
That brief window was enough.
Xia Feng had pushed much closer to headquarters.
His heart tightened.
There were still two Upper Moons left.
Akaza—
A monster in close combat.
Capable of fighting two Hashira at once without losing ground.
Even decapitation couldn't kill him easily.
It was as if he possessed true immortality.
And worse—
Kokushibo.
Upper Rank One.
Even four Hashira working together might not be enough to defeat him.
A master of Moon Breathing—
And capable of perceiving the very essence of a person's strength.
To the Hashira—
He was a nightmare.
"I have to get inside… fast."
Xia Feng's eyes sharpened.
"If those two face the Hashira… we could lose several of them."
Suddenly—
His Nichirin Blade froze over.
A white mist spread outward.
"Absolute Zero!"
As Xia Feng advanced—
Every Demon in his path froze into ice statues.
He kicked one down—
Then leapt across another—
Crossing dozens in a single motion.
Closer.
Closer!
The entrance to headquarters—
Was finally within sight.
Once inside—
The wisteria flowers would keep the Demons out.
"They really thought this could stop me?"
Xia Feng gritted his teeth and swung his blade.
The Demons ahead were cut down—
Opening a fan-shaped clearing several meters wide.
But—
The sides were already closing in.
And—
His breath had run out.
Danger.
Two Demons grabbed him.
Xia Feng slammed his blade into the ground—
His entire body hardened.
"Iron Body!"
But—
More and more Demons piled onto him.
Clawing.
Biting.
Those who couldn't reach him—
Climbed over others, forming a grotesque pile.
At that critical moment—
Xia Feng took a breath.
His eyes flashed.
"Thunder Breathing—Thunderclap and Flash: Sixfold!"
Lightning burst outward.
In an instant—
All the Demons clinging to him were sliced apart.
Bodies scattered.
Ash filled the air.
Xia Feng spun his blade—
And used Thunderclap and Flash again.
He glanced ahead—
The entrance was right there.
"Almost there!"
More Demons lunged—
But missed.
Because—
Xia Feng had already turned intangible.
Their claws passed straight through him.
He dashed forward—
Just as the intangibility began to fade—
He crossed into headquarters.
And behind him—
The Demons stopped.
Held back by the blooming wisteria flowers.
Xia Feng exhaled slightly.
He knew—
Intangibility had limits.
Back in the Infinity Castle, he had only pretended it didn't—
To deceive Muzan and the Upper Moons.
But now—
After this battle—
Muzan would likely realize the truth.
Without stopping—
Xia Feng rushed toward the Butterfly Estate.
Inside—
Hantengu's clones were wreaking havoc.
Shinobu Kocho struck again and again—
Her Nichirin Blade piercing through a clone's neck three times.
But—
It didn't die.
Sekido roared in fury. "Good! Very good! I'll show you what death truly feels like for daring to harm me again and again!"
Shinobu's expression darkened.
This was her first time facing an Upper Moon—
And her first time encountering a Demon her blade couldn't kill.
Nearby—
Kanao Tsuyuri struggled to defend against Urogi's attacks.
A sonic blast sent her flying.
If she hadn't barely dodged—
She would have died.
"Hehehe… didn't expect Demon Slayers here to be this strong," Urogi sneered, hovering in the air. "I thought we'd wipe you out instantly."
Karaku laughed cheerfully. "You two keep playing with them. I'll head outside and have some fun."
Urogi glanced at him. "Did you forget what that man ordered us to do?"
Karaku's expression shifted slightly.
"Of course not," he said, his smile fading. "I'm going to find Tamayo. As long as she's alive, she's a threat. I've heard she's researching a way to turn Demons back into humans."
"Then go kill her," Urogi replied coldly.
Karaku shrugged. "Relax. The entire headquarters is ours now. Finding her is only a matter of time."
Sekido glared at him. "If anything goes wrong—you'll answer for it!"
Karaku finally grew serious and walked off.
Every Demon Slayer he passed—
He killed without hesitation.
Sekido turned back to Shinobu.
"I know you're a Hashira. Tell me your name—I'll grant you a swift death."
Shinobu said nothing.
Her focus remained absolute.
Her blade adjusted its poison repeatedly—
Striking again and again.
But—
It was useless.
No matter how many times she poisoned him—
He regenerated instantly.
