Chapter 72 - Chapter 72: Uninhabited Island

Raiden Ei was slightly surprised! The person who arrived was someone she knew. Isn't Borsalino the Kizaru who possesses the Logia-type Glint-Glint Fruit and will later become an Admiral?

If Kizaru was the one sent by the Marines, then the World Government must also have dispatched someone of comparable strength. Loguetown was no longer safe; she needed to leave quickly.

She had originally planned to visit the execution platform, but now there was no opportunity. Although Kizaru was not yet an Admiral, his strength certainly wouldn't be lacking. Facing him now, winning would still be very difficult.

"A Navy Vice Admiral has arrived. Do you know which pirate he is here to capture?"

Christine looked towards the bodyguard again. The bodyguard immediately understood and stepped forward to whisper to him.

Raiden Ei: Are these bodyguards his brain? Why does he always have to ask them? Couldn't he just tell them directly and save all this trouble?

After speaking, the bodyguard immediately stepped back.

"It's a pirate named Raiden Ei. The bounty poster was only issued here this morning. I even have the poster here; take a look."

Christine finished speaking and directly took the bounty poster handed over by the bodyguard, even looking at it carefully to be sure.

"Hmm, it is this one. A woman?"

He was completely dumbfounded and hesitated to look at Raiden Ei. The person who had threatened him was also a woman. Recalling that a Navy Vice Admiral had arrived, and she had never shown her face here, could she possibly be the Raiden Ei on the wanted poster!

Raiden Ei took the bounty poster from Christine's slightly trembling hand, guessing what he was thinking that caused his reaction.

Looking at the photo on the poster, it was indeed her. Judging by the background in the photo, it was from the time she fought Sengoku. So, how did the Marines discover that she had killed a Celestial Dragon? Now she had a slight clue.

"Heh, only one billion Berries?"

When Christine heard these words that were practically a self-betrayal, he almost collapsed. This was a super great pirate whose bounty on the poster alone reached one billion Berries!

What did his earlier mention of the Iron Horse Pirate Crew Captain's bounty of thirty-two million Berries even count for!

"Alright, the information you provided was somewhat useful. I will let you go this time!"

Christine breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this. Fortunately, she was somewhat reasonable.

Before everyone in the tavern could show a smile, an extremely powerful aura spread out from Raiden Ei's body, instantly enveloping the entire tavern.

She restrained the spread of her Conqueror's Haki within the confines of the tavern. "Thump, thump," people one by one rolled their eyes and collapsed. Soon, a large patch of people lay on the ground. Using Observation Haki to sense them, they were all knocked unconscious.

"Sleep here for now! I didn't plan on letting you go spread the word."

Raiden Ei stepped past the blood pooling on the floor and walked towards the tavern door. Although this trip did not achieve her objective, she had found a direction.

As long as the Iron Horse Pirate Crew had not yet headed to the Grand Line, she could snatch their log pose. After all, she was considered a great pirate now.

Walking out the tavern door, she casually hung up a sign that read "Temporarily Closed." Now everything was foolproof.

Raiden Ei put her demon blade back into the system backpack and, pretending nothing had happened, blended into the stream of people on the street, heading in one direction.

"This way, this way, let's go check over there."

She occasionally dodged Marines patrolling the street but did not see Kizaru appear.

Raiden Ei walked to the edge of the town. She used Observation Haki to sense the surroundings and found no one nearby. She used Geppo to step on the air and headed towards the uninhabited island, disappearing near Loguetown in a short while.

...

"Is that uninhabited island below where the Iron Horse Pirate Crew is located? It looks like they haven't left for the Grand Line yet. Let's go down and check!"

Raiden Ei used Geppo in the air to rush here. Finally, after half an hour, she found the uninhabited island mentioned on the sea chart and descended directly from the sky onto the beach.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh," the waves continuously crashed onto the sand.

"There are still many tracks around here. Following them should lead me to them."

She looked around and discovered many traces that had not been cleaned up. She followed the tracks towards the island, hoping to find the pirates hidden on this island.

The deeper she went, the more obvious the tracks became. Suddenly, three pirates jumped out from the nearby bushes, all holding weapons and staring menacingly at the black-robed figure Raiden Ei had transformed into.

"Stop! Who are you, and why have you come to this island?"

"Take me to see your Captain. I have something to discuss with him."

Raiden Ei saw someone and immediately asked to see their Captain. She didn't want to fight her way through; capturing the leader first seemed easier.

"Tell us! What do you need to discuss with our Captain? We will inform him."

The three pirates did not lower their guard even after hearing it was a woman's voice.

"Oh, just tell him that, like him, I also want to go to the Grand Line."

After hearing the reason she gave, one of the pirates quickly ran towards the center of the island.

"Alright, someone has gone to notify him. Now you have to come with us, and we must confiscate your sword."

"That won't do. The way you are acting makes things very difficult for me!"

"Then don't even think about leaving this island. This is the territory of our Iron Horse Pirate Crew. Since you've come, don't think about leaving again."

The remaining two pirates immediately looked fierce, and the swords in their hands seemed eager to strike.

Raiden Ei didn't indulge them. She curled her index finger and flicked it, launching two 'Finger Pistol' air bullets towards their shoulders.

"Pfft!" Before the two men could react, the air bullets struck them, instantly piercing their shoulders. The pain caused their weapons to drop to the ground, and they screamed while clutching their wounds. "Ah! It hurts, it hurts!"

"Now can you take me to see your Captain?"

"Yes... Yes, I will take you to see the Captain immediately."

The two pirates endured the pain from their wounds, their expressions twisted, but unwilling to take another hit, they laboriously led Raiden Ei towards the center of the island.

This island was not large and did not have many trees, mostly short grass, and the terrain around it was uneven. Raiden Ei did not see any wild beasts active here; it was just grass everywhere—truly a desolate, uninhabited island.

"Captain, Captain, a woman is outside, wanting to join us. Should we bring her to see you?"

"Hahaha, I never thought a woman would come to pledge allegiance! Come on, brothers, let's go take a look together!"

The Captain of the Iron Horse Pirate Crew, Bukia, laughed heartily upon hearing the report from his subordinate. He put on his Captain's hat and immediately called his brothers to walk outside.
