PRAPAI'S POV :
The next day, i.e. the day of peach's birthday, had come , I only had until 12 o'clock at night.
I had to tell Peach the whole truth at any cost. I rushed to the company , and went to Peach's cabin to talk to him.
I searched for him everywhere but he was not in his cabin.
Then I remembered that last night he had talked about giving his resignation.I panicked, wondering if he had really resigned and left. I immediately ran to Lalita.
" Lalita, where is Peach? Did he come to the office today? "
" Peach, yes he resigned this morning and left, I don't know why he resigned, I asked but he didn't tell me, he just said he was going somewhere far away from here. "
I stared at my phone for the hundredth time.
Nothing.
No message.
No call.
Nothing from Peach.
After everything that had happened between us, I had finally found out that Peach had resigned from the company.
But the worst part was...
I had no idea where he had gone.
"Prapai" I looked up.
Kim was standing in front of my desk.
"You've been sitting here for hours."
"I need to find Peach."
Kim sighed.
"Then talk to Ren." I looked at him.
"Ren ?"
"He knows Peach better than anyone. Maybe he knows where Peach went."
I immediately called Ren.
Once.
Twice.
Three times.
He didn't answer.
"He's not picking up."
Kim thought for a moment.
"Then ask Miss Lalita. She might have his address."
I immediately called Lalita.
After a little convincing, she finally gave me Ren's hometown address. It was two hours away from Bangkok.
I didn't waste another second. Emi also insisted to come so I took her with me too.

TWO HOURS LATER
The entire journey felt endless. My hands were tight around the steering wheel.
I kept thinking about Peach.
Where was he?
Was he okay?
Did he hate me?
Did he think I had really been dating Emi?
I couldn't stop thinking about the pain in his eyes the last time we'd spoken.
When I finally reached Ren's house, I immediately got out of the car and knocked.
The door opened.
Ren's expression changed the moment he saw me.
"You?"
"I need to talk to you."
Ren stepped outside and closed the door behind him.
"If you're here because of Peach, you can leave."
My heart sank.
"Please. Just tell me where he is."
"No."
"Ren—"
"You already hurt him enough."
I stared at him.
"What are you talking about?"
"Don't act too much, I know everything about you and Emi dating."
My eyes widened.
"That's not true."
"Don't lie to me."
"I'm not lying."
Ren laughed bitterly.
"Then why was Emi always around you? Why did Peach have to watch the two of you together?"
I lowered my head.
There was only one way to make him understand.
"I'm a vampire."
Ren froze.
"What?"
I took a breath.
"My mother predicted something about me when I was young."
Ren listened silently.
"She told me that before peach's twenty-first birthday, I had to kill him."
His expression changed.
"Why?"
"She said Peach would become dangerous for me. She said if I didn't kill him before he turned twenty-one, something terrible would happen."
I clenched my fists.
"But I couldn't do it."
My voice broke.
"I fell in love with him."
Ren stared at me.
I continued.
"When Peach was trying to discover my identity, he hurt himself with a knife on his wrist to know my real identity ."
I closed my eyes.
"I used almost all of my powers to save him."
I remembered that night.
His pale face.
His blood.
The fear that had filled me.
"I became so weak that I couldn't even stand properly. I spent a week lying in bed."
Ren's expression softened.
"That's why you disappeared and came back as ceo of the company after a week ? "
I nodded.
"I was trying to win him back."
"And Emi?"
"It's all Fake."
Ren frowned .
"We pretented to be together just to make him feel jealous."
I looked directly at him.
"But he was always important to me."
Ren remained silent for a long time.
Finally, he sighed.
"Peach is in Phuket."
My heart stopped.
"Phuket?"
"He went back to his hometown."
I immediately turned around.
"Thank you."

PHUKET
The moment I arrived, I went straight to Peach's house.
An older woman opened the door.
" Ren ? Is that you ? " She asked ren as she knew him as peach's friend.
" Yes , Hello aunty , how are you ? "
" And who are they ? " She said looking towards us ( prapai and emi ) .
"Umm , they are my friend and peach's too we're here to meet him , by the way , Where's Peach?"
She smiled sadly.
"He's at the beach. He usually goes there."
I immediately ran toward the sea.
And then I saw him.
Peach.
Standing alone near the water.
My heart ached.
"Peach!"
He turned around.
The moment his eyes met mine, his expression hardened.
"What are you doing here?"
"I came to see you."
"You shouldn't have."
"Please let me explain."
"I don't want to hear anything."
"Peach—"
"Go away."
His words hurt more than I expected.
"I just want five minutes."
"I said go."
I stood there for a moment.
Then his mother called from behind me.
"You boys came all this way. You should stay for dinner."
Peach immediately turned toward her.
"Mom..."
"No. You're not sending guests away."
She looked at me.
"You can stay here tonight."
I looked at Peach.
He clearly wasn't happy about it.
But he didn't argue.

DINNER
That evening, we sat together around the dining table.
I kept looking at Peach.
He barely looked at me.
I remembered all his favourite foods.
Without saying anything, I placed some of his favourite dish onto his plate.
He looked down at it , Then at me but didn't said anything."
I quietly added another dish.
His expression softened for just a second.
But then Emi came into the room.
She sat beside me.
Peach immediately noticed.
Emi and I spoke quietly about something.
From the corner of my eye, I saw Peach watching us.
His expression became darker.
Finally, he couldn't hold it anymore.
"So that's why you came?"
I looked at him.
"What?"
"You and Emi."
Emi looked confused.
"Peach—"
"You came all the way here with her too?"
"She's not—"
"I don't want to hear it!"
Everyone became silent.
Peach stood up.
"You don't have to pretend anymore."
"I never pretended about you."
"Then why are you sitting so close to
I stood up.
"Because you don't know the truth."
"Then tell me!"
I couldn't.
Not yet.
Peach's eyes filled with anger and hurt.
"Just leave."
I froze.
"Peach..."
"Leave!"
I slowly nodded.
"Okay."
I walked away.

PEACH'S POV
The moment Prapai left, my anger disappeared.
I immediately regretted everything.
But before I could follow him, Ren stopped me.
"Peach."
"What?"
"You need to know the truth."
I looked at him.
"What truth?"
"Emi and Prapai aren't together."
I froze.
"What?"
"They were pretending."
My heart dropped.
"Why?"
Ren told me everything.
The fake relationship.
Prapai's secret.
His mother's prediction.
The night I hurt myself while trying to discover Prapai's identity.
How Prapai had used his powers to save me.
How weak he had become afterward.
How he'd spent a week in bed.
And how he'd never stopped loving me.
Tears filled my eyes.

I couldn't speak.
All this time, I had blamed him.
I had thought he had chosen Emi.
But he had been protecting me.
"Prapai..."
I ran.

PRAPAI'S POV
I walked away from the house without looking back.
Maybe this was what Peach really wanted.
Maybe I had finally lost him.
I didn't notice how far I'd walked.
Then I heard footsteps.
I turned around.
"Peach?"
No one was there.
I kept walking.
Then suddenly—
I heard a scream.
I turned around.
"PEACH!"
Several vampires surrounded him.
My eyes widened.
They were my own kind.
"Leave him."
One of them stepped forward.
"You know the rules."
"I don't care about the rules anymore."
I moved toward Peach.
The vampires attacked.
I fought back.
They were stronger than ordinary humans, but I didn't care.
I wasn't going to let them touch him.
I stood between Peach and them.
"Run!"
But Peach didn't move.
"Prapai..."
I turned toward him.
"Are you okay?"
He nodded, tears running down his face.
"I thought I'd lost you."
I reached for his hand.
"You'll never lose me."

MIDNIGHT
After the vampires disappeared, we stood together near the sea.
Peach looked at me.
"I'm sorry."
I shook my head.
"I should have told you everything."
"I should have trusted you."
He stepped closer.
"I love you."
My heart stopped.
"I love you too."
He wrapped his arms around me.
I held him tightly.
Then our lips met , As he kissed me, it was clear how much he yearned for that kiss.
For the first time, there was no fear between us.
No lies.
No pretending.
Just us.
The real us , the vampire and a human bounded together with the red thread of love.
Then—
The clock struck twelve.
Peach suddenly pulled away.
His eyes widened.
"It's midnight."
I froze.
Today was his twenty-first birthday.
The age when I was supposed to kill him.
But I couldn't.
I never could.
We looked at each other in fear.
"What happens now?" Peach whispered.
"I don't know."
We were so nervous that what to do , when a familiar voice came from behind us.
"You don't have to be afraid."
We turned.
Emi.
She walked toward us.
"There was never a real prophecy."
I stared at her.
"What?"
She looked at me
"Your mother just saw the future , the future of both of you being together , the future of a vampire and human falling in love with each other ."
My blood ran cold.
"She knew you would fall in love with Peach."
I couldn't speak.
"She knew a vampire falling in love with a human would change everything."
Emi continued.
"That's why she lied to you."
Peach looked shocked.
"She told you that peach is dangerous for you because she wanted him to stay away from you."
My eyes filled with tears.
"She wanted you to believe you had to kill peach before his 21st birthday ..."
"...because she knew you would choose him instead , so you don't have to do anything to peach just love him as you do."
I looked at Peach.
He smiled through his tears.
"So there was never a future where I had to die?"
"No , I guess "
I pulled him into my arms.
He hugged me tightly.
For the first time, I felt completely free.
I believe my mother lied to me, but it's a good thing she told me to kill Peach because if she hadn't said that, I would never have looked for Peach, never would I have met him. Never would I have love him , and I wouldn't be with him today.
Our eyes filled with joy and we kissed each other joyfully.

A FEW DAYS LATER
Everything felt different.
Peach was back to smiling.
We walked along the beach together. We sleep together , eat together even bath together And I don't leave him alone even for a minute.
He stole food from my plate during breakfast.
I complained.
He laughed.
At night, we sat outside his house watching the stars.
"You know," Peach said, resting his head against my shoulder, "you're still a terrible liar."
I smiled.
"And you're still incredibly jealous."
He hit my arm lightly.
"I am not!"
I laughed.
He smiled.
Then I kissed his forehead.
He looked at me.
"Promise me something."
"What?"
"Never hide things from me again."
I held his hand.
"I promise."
He smiled and leaned against me.
The sea was calm.
The night was quiet.
And for the first time...
I wasn't afraid of the future even though I'm a vampire and he is a human.
Because whatever happened next—
I knew I'd face it with Peach.
