Chapter 13 - Chapter 13

As Arwa walked out of the gate with Leon and Louis, the night air felt cool and calm. The lights from the party behind them slowly faded as they moved farther away.

For a few moments, no one spoke.

Leon suddenly stretched his arms and said jokingly, "Well, I think I should go this way. I have something to do."

Arwa looked at him suspiciously. "Something to do? At this hour?"

Leon simply smiled mischievously and started walking away. "Yes, yes. You two go ahead."

Before Arwa could say anything else, he disappeared down the street, leaving her alone with Louis.

For a moment, the atmosphere became a little awkward.

Arwa quietly walked beside Louis while looking at the ground.

Louis glanced at her and said softly, "Your singing… it was really beautiful."

Arwa looked up in surprise. "Really?"

Louis nodded. "Yes. I didn't know you could sing like that."

Arwa smiled shyly and looked away. "Actually… I was very nervous."

Louis chuckled softly. "You didn't look nervous at all."

They continued walking slowly under the street lights.

After a few steps, Louis suddenly stopped.

Arwa turned to look at him. "What happened?"

Louis looked at her for a moment, then gently took something out of his pocket.

It was a small silver hairpin decorated with a tiny white flower.

"I bought this earlier," he said quietly. "I thought it would suit you."

Arwa's eyes widened slightly in surprise.

"For me?"

Louis nodded and gently handed it to her.

Arwa held the hairpin carefully and smiled brightly.

"Thank you… it's very beautiful."

Louis smiled back.

For a moment, their eyes met again under the soft glow of the street lights.

Arwa felt her heart beat a little faster and quickly looked away.

Why is my heart beating like this…? she wondered.

Meanwhile, Louis quietly watched her with a small smile.

The night felt strangely warm and peaceful.

Arwa and Louis continued walking together under the quiet night sky. The streets were calm, and the soft light from the lanterns made the moment feel peaceful.

Arwa was still holding the small silver hairpin Louis had given her. She looked at it again and smiled softly.

"It's really beautiful," she said quietly. "I'll keep it safely."

Louis felt strangely happy hearing that.

"I'm glad you like it," he replied with a gentle smile.

They continued walking side by side.

After a short while, they reached the front of Arwa's house.

Arwa stopped and turned toward him.

"Thank you for walking with me," she said.

Louis shook his head slightly. "It's nothing."

For a moment, both of them just stood there silently.

Then Arwa smiled and said softly, "Good night, Louis."

"Good night," he replied.

Arwa walked toward the gate of her house. Before going inside, she turned back once more and waved.

Louis gave a small wave back.

When Arwa finally went inside, Louis stayed there for a moment, looking at the gate.

He suddenly placed a hand on his chest.

Why is my heart beating like this…?

He remembered how Arwa looked in that glittering dress…

Her sweet smile…

And the beautiful voice she had when she sang.

A small smile slowly appeared on his face.

When did she become so special to me…?

Meanwhile, inside the house, Arwa leaned against the door for a moment.

Her cheeks turned slightly pink.

She looked at the hairpin again.

Was he really smiling at me like that…?

Both of them were thinking about each other without realizing it.

And somewhere deep in their hearts, a new feeling had quietly begun to grow.

After some time, late at night, the door quietly opened and Leon finally came home.

As he stepped inside, he saw Arwa sitting on the sofa, holding a small hairpin in her hand and looking at it.

The moment Arwa saw her brother, she quickly hid the hairpin behind her back.

Leon immediately noticed.

He raised an eyebrow and asked, "What did you just hide?"

Arwa replied quickly, "Nothing."

Leon looked at her suspiciously.

"Nothing?"

Before he could ask more questions, Arwa quickly changed the topic.

"First tell me this," she said, crossing her arms. "Why are you coming home so late? Should I wake Mom and Dad?"

Leon's eyes widened a little.

"Hey! Don't do that," he said quickly.

Arwa smiled mischievously. "Why not? Maybe they should know how their son is wandering around at night."

Leon sighed dramatically. "I was not wandering. I was busy."

"Busy doing what?" Arwa asked with a teasing smile.

Leon thought for a moment and then said confidently, "Important work."

Arwa laughed. "Oh really? What kind of 'important work' happens this late at night?"

Leon scratched his head and said, "Secret work."

Arwa shook her head, still smiling.

"Fine. I won't ask."

Leon looked at her again and said, "Good."

Then he suddenly pointed at her hand.

"But you still haven't told me what you were hiding."

Arwa quickly put both hands behind her back and said, "Nothing!"

Leon stared at her for a few seconds… then sighed.

"You're acting suspicious."

Arwa simply smiled innocently.

Leon shook his head and started walking toward his room.

"Whatever it is," he said, "I'll find out someday."

After he left, Arwa slowly took the hairpin out again and looked at it with a soft smile.

Then she whispered quietly to herself,

"Some things are better kept secret."

That night, in two different places and two different lives, both Arwa and Heidi were sleeping.

Yet somehow, the same strange dream found them both.

In the darkness of the dream, a cold voice echoed.

"Are you sure the life you are living now is truly yours?"

The voice continued whispering.

"You seem so happy… but is this really your life?"

In Arwa's body (where Heidi's soul was)

Heidi suddenly appeared in the dream world.

A shadow slowly formed in front of her and turned into the real Arwa.

Arwa looked at her calmly.

"Do you really think I'm dead?" she asked quietly.

"What if I'm still alive… and you're the one living in my body?"

Heidi stepped back in fear.

"If you want to know the truth about this life," Arwa said slowly, "then find the truth about me."

Arwa began walking toward her.

Heidi kept stepping back.

"Don't come closer… stay away!" she shouted.

But Arwa kept approaching until Heidi suddenly lost her balance and fell.

In the next moment, Arwa grabbed her by the throat.

"Find the truth…" Arwa whispered.

"Find the truth… find the truth…"

The words echoed again and again.

Heidi struggled to breathe.

"Let me go… please… let me go…" she gasped.

Suddenly Arwa smiled coldly.

Then her face slowly changed…

It became the face of Heidi's stepmother.

The stepmother looked at her with hatred.

"Go and suffer in hell," she said.

"Die there… and never come back."

At the same time — in Heidi's real body (where Arwa's soul was)

Arwa was also trapped in the same dream.

But for her, the person standing in front of her was the real Heidi.

Heidi looked at her with sharp eyes.

"You're living my life," she said.

"Doesn't it bother you?"

Arwa frowned.

"I didn't ask for this," she replied.

"Then find the truth," Heidi said.

But Arwa looked away.

"I don't care about the truth," she said quietly.

"I just want to live peacefully."

Morning

Heidi suddenly woke up, breathing heavily.

Her heart was racing.

She touched her chest and whispered,

"So my real body… might still be alive."

Her eyes slowly became determined.

"There must be a reason behind all of this."

"Someone must be responsible."

She clenched her hand slightly.

"I will uncover this mystery."

But somewhere else, Heidi (inside Arwa body)

also woke up from the same dream.

She sat quietly for a moment.

Then she shook her head.

"No," she murmured.

"I don't want to dig into this."

She looked out the window.

"As long as I can live peacefully… that's enough for me."

And unlike Heidi, Arwa decided to ignore the mystery and continue living her new life as it was.
