Boom! Boom! Boom!
Natsuki wiped the sweat accumulated on his face, sweeping a glance across the field he found himself cursing the budget for this prestigious school
Boom!
Another robot went flying, its metallic body crashing into the pavement hard enough to leave a dent.
Natsuki's eyes narrowed as he stared at the wreckage for half a second.
'How much did one of these things cost? '
His mind immediately began doing the math, his body racing towards the nearest hoard of bots with detonating force
One million? Two? Maybe three? Or is this reckless spending because they have support students building them? Does that reduce the cost?
Boom! Another robot collapsed beneath his fist.
Fuck no! That doesn't change the fact that the materials are being wasted. His expression twitched.
These are robots programmed to test students combat ability and adaptability, these internal wiring should be crazy! The cooling, the—
'Natsu-chan, you're focusing on the wro—'
'Shush!'
He ignored the people that
And they just let fifty teenagers loose on them? What kind of budget does U.A. have?
He launched himself toward another machine, blasting it aside with a sharp explosion.
I used s saving money just to buy that damn apartment.
Boom! Then I had to renovate the thing. Boom! Plumbing. Electricity. Furniture. Security.
Another robot crumpled beneath his heel. Food. Emergency Medical supplies.
Seeing a pink figure melting the metal of several 2 pointers made his eyes twitch harder.
Mei's Car
Another explosion rang across the battlefield.
Tsuna's writing helps, but even that took time to become profitable.
He gritted his teeth.
Why the hell does this all seem to lead to me robbing criminals!?.
Natsuki stared at another robot approaching him.
Meanwhile, these bastards are manufacturing robots specifically so teenagers can destroy them.
His expression twisted.
Rich bastards.
Boom!
Another robot went flying.
Nearby, a girl coloured pink from head to toe blinked as the human grenade tore through on the robots in her blindspot, before blasting away
Mina Ashido watched him with wide eyes.
The strange, twisted expression on his face combined with the explosions surrounding him made her swallow nervously.
'Okay... he looks way more like a villain than some of the actual villains I've seen.'
Her eyes flickered toward the robot lying several meters away—the same one that had nearly hit her before he destroyed it.
Still... thanks.
She didn't expect him to hear her.
And frankly she couldn't afford too,"....this test is seriously too much.."
She ran towards the next part of the street, leaving the ground covered in everywhere in white substances
Hiss hiss~
---------
Natsuki blasted a 1 pointer than launched himself to the nearest street lamp, catching it then holding himself up, he swept his gaze in every
Before maybe because he hadn't beem focused much he hadn't noticed
But now.....
"Why the hell are there so many pointers?"
Natsuki watched the droves of robots, flooding in ever direction, confusion clouding his eyes
'What was the reason for this? Did they want to overwhelm them with numbers?'
Bang!
He dodged the rubber bullet that had been aimed at him, glaring at the bot that had fired it
'tch, At least shout "eat this, hero" like the other bots do'
'eat this, hero'
"NOT NOW!"
BOOM!

"This year's batch is really something, huh?"
Nezu smiled as he watched the numerous screens displaying the examination grounds.
"You say that every year, Nezu," Midnight replied, glancing over at him.
"Though that may be true, Midnight, is there any lie in what I say? Have those same words ever been false when I've said them?"
Midnight paused before looking back toward the screens. "No, unfortunately not. Especially this year.
There are so many contestants with powerful Quirks, but what's even more interesting is the number of creative ways they're using them."
The screen showed a green-haired boy launching flames around himself.
Fire burst from his hands while another stream erupted from his feet, sending him ricocheting between the sides of the buildings.
"His Quirk appears to be centered around flames," Midnight continued, "yet he's using it for long-range attacks, mobility, and even limited aerial movement, a fan of endeavour?"
Aizawa nodded as he watched. "What's even more interesting is that despite this year's exam being more demanding on physical ability, the students seem to be adapting rather well."
"Rather well?" Present Mic laughed before pointing toward another screen.
A purple-haired boy bounced desperately between buildings, pursued by a growing horde of robots.
His expression practically screamed Please! Somebody help me! "Not everybody is doing well," Present Mic emphasized, glancing at Aizawa with a smirk.
"Well, there are always exceptions," Vlad King remarked from the side.
Midnight ignored the exchange and turned her attention toward another screen.
A girl with ash-blonde hair was tearing through the robots with terrifying efficiency.
Explosions danced around her as another machine was sent flying. "Hm?" Midnight narrowed her eyes. "Didn't I see this participant somewhere else?"
She swiped across her tablet once, then twice, bringing up footage from another section of the examination field.
There she was again. Midnight blinked before looking between the two screens. "Oh. They're actually twins." Her fingers moved across the tablet, bringing up the students' profiles.
"Katsumi Bakugo... Natsuki Bakugo." She tilted her head. "How curious." Her eyes moved down the information. "They actually share the same Quirk."
Aizawa's attention immediately shifted toward her. "Same Quirk?"
Midnight turned the tablet slightly toward him. "Apparently."
Aizawa looked over the profiles before shifting his gaze toward the corresponding footage. Katsumi was tearing through another group of robots.
Natsuki, meanwhile, was hanging from a streetlamp, observing the battlefield below.
A strange sense of familiarity briefly surfaced when Aizawa looked at the boy. Have I seen him somewhere before?
The feeling disappeared almost as quickly as it came, and he dismissed it, 'Probably a face I've seen in my patrols'
"Yeah," Present Mic said, already leaning over their shoulders. "Definitely twins."
Nezu watched the staff's growing interest with amusement.
Without saying anything, he typed something into the keyboard in front of him.The enormous display at the front of the observation deck shifted, dividing into two screens. One side displayed Katsumi. The other displayed Natsuki.
Nezu smiled. "Identical Quirks in twins... that's rather interesting."
All Might, who had remained quiet until then, nodded. "Indeed. While similar Quirks—or Quirks of the same general nature—appear more frequently than one might expect, genuinely identical Quirks between twins are exceptionally rare.
Twins usually develop variations of the same Quirk, or inherit traits resembling those of their respective parents.
To possess essentially the same Quirk is quite unusual."
Aizawa continued watching the footage. "But what catches my interest isn't their Quirk."
The others looked toward him.
"It's how they fight."
The screen showed Katsumi twisting through the battlefield, explosions carrying her from one target to another.
The footage then shifted toward Natsuki. He moved differently. Less aggressive. More deliberate. He wasn't simply attacking whatever was closest.
His eyes constantly moved, assessing the battlefield before deciding where to strike next.
"They aren't particularly experienced," Aizawa continued. "At least, not in the way a professional hero would be. Especially the girl. But they're not hesitating."
His eyes narrowed.
"They've got talent."
Nezu's smile widened. "A considerable amount, I'd say."
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves," Vlad King interjected. "The examination isn't finished yet."
He glanced toward Aizawa. "And I'm sure your students are getting rather anxious about the next phase."
Nezu's ears perked. "Ah."
He pressed a button.
BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.
Alarms suddenly rang throughout every examination field.
The students froze.
Heads turned toward the speakers. Some looked upward. Others looked around in confusion. The robots continued moving, but something about the atmosphere had changed.
"Is the test over?"
"What's happening?"
"Did something go wrong?"
A few students exchanged nervous glances.
Then another possibility entered their minds.
"Is this a villain attack?!"
"Don't be stupid! This is UA highschool, what type of balls would a villain have to even think about coming here"
"The type that can handle a Detroit smash?"
"..."
"That came out wrong! Wait don't look at me like that!"
The confusion spread throughout the battlefield.
And from the observation deck, the teachers simply watched.
Nezu's smile remained unchanged. Present Mic stepped toward the microphone. A wide grin adorned his face
Aizawa stared at him for several seconds.
And these people call me sadistic?
His eyes narrowed.
'Please, Mic. Take a good look at your own expression.'
Present Mic pressed the button.
"ALRIGHT, LISTEN UP, FUTURE HEROES!
