Nhel strode to find Jasmine.
He was going to have one last discussion with her, and that was it.
"Your Highness, did you really accept the marriage proposal?" Jace asked. He found it hard to believe.
"What proposal are you talking about, Jace?" Nhel feigned ignorance, not having the strength to deal with the topic. That was why he was going to talk it out with Jasmine one more time.
If she and her grandfather still insisted on it, then he would have to turn to a plan he had kept in one part of his brain.
Jace decided not to press further.
When they took some steps forward, Williams appeared.
A sly smile danced on his lips as he approached.
"If it isn't Prince Nhel, my niece's soon-to-be husband," he said.
Nhel's eyes narrowed. He clenched his fists.
That day was coming, when he would take out his thirty-twos and make him experience a different kind of hell for trying to take advantage of Anisha.
Nhel released a chuckle.
