Chapter 53 - Dealing with the Police.

Ms. Tanaka led them to an office, and John took a seat while Ms. Tanaka chimed in. "I think you should talk to him once his parents come back. I don't think this is right." She said. Her words made John happy, but he spoke once more.

"It's fine, Sensei, I don't need my father here," John said as Ms. Tanaka sighed and nodded before bowing and leaving. The two police women looked at John, impressed by how well he carried himself. Most kids his age will become nervous even if they haven't done anything.

"Jackson, I want to ask you, do you know any of these people?" Miyazaki asked, sliding several photos over to John. He looked at them and shook his head no, which was a lie, as he could tell that they were the Yakuza whom they had killed. But he wasn't going to say that to them. Miyazaki then slid another group of photos; this time, John had no clue who they were.

"I am sorry, I don't know any of these people. May I know what this is about?" John asked with a confused look on his face, making Miyazaki look at him before speaking.

"A few days ago, someone killed a bunch of people. We had information that a white person was involved. We are just checking all foringers within the city limits." She said, making John's eyes light up. John's mind raced when an idea of how it happened passed through his mind.

"That is horrible, but don't you think it's pretty racist of you to single out white people? I mean, did I meet the look of the white person you are looking for? I doubt I do, because it would be impossible for anyone to forget my face." John said before leaning back into the chair and looking at the police women, who both had to agree.

His looks would be impossible to forget, and the information Miyazaki had was about an old white man. "Jackson, would it be possible to have a list of all white people working under your family in this city?" Miyazaki asked, raising his eyebrows, before smiling as he spoke.

"We would have to go back to my mansion for that. I will put in the paperwork to leave school, and we can head over to my place." John said he began to run a plan through his head while the two police women looked at him for a moment.

"You can get one of your family's employees to get them; you don't have to go through such great lengths for us," Miyazaki said. John smiled as he spoke to them.

"I can't do that, to make a list of my people by race, I can't leave that to someone else. It would be unbecoming of me, as someone who takes care of them. So if you want that list, I will be the one to make it." John said before standing up.

Miyazaki sighed and nodded before speaking. "Very well, we will follow you back to your mansion." She said as John put up his hand and spoke.

"I will give you a ride. I have to come back to school anyway, and I am pretty sure you want to ask me more questions. The ride there and back will be the perfect time to do so, as I won't be busy with making the list." John said. Shocking Miyazaki, the idea was great, but she couldn't help but feel that this young boy was talented at business.

For someone so young to be able to carry themselves so well, Miyazaki could see how the Jackson family became so strong. If their children are like this, then the adults must be even better. "Thank you, John. Your help with this is much appreciated." Miyazaki said.

"It is my honor to help you catch whoever did this, if it was one of my people. It would dishonor my family name, and I can't have that. My family worked hard to make the world a better place." John stood and started walking towards the door, with the two police women following behind.

"Sensei, I need to leave school. Something came up." John said to Ms. Tanaka, who nodded.

"I will inform the school that you need to help the police with something." Ms. Tanaka said before John left, and he pulled out his phone, texting the driver, then group chatting the girls, telling them to forget about the club room this afternoon. He would be dealing with something before meeting up with Mikami for dinner.

As they walked out of school, the limo pulled up, and John opened the door, speaking. "Ladies first." He said, smiling as the two of them entered the limo and John got inside, closing the door.

The limo pulled off as John spoke to the two police women. "Do you ladies want some water or maybe a soda?" John said, making them nod.

"I would like some water," Miyazaki said.

"Can I have a soda?" Officer Kuwahara said with a smile and a slight blush on her face. John didn't miss that look; it was the look of something that found him attractive. He smiled back at them and nodded as he moved towards the small refrigerator.

Opening it, he saw several drinks without a sticky on top, and others with a color-coded sticky. He reached in and took a water with a red sticky note, taking the note off while it was still inside the refrigerator. John handed it to Miyazaki, and she smiled before John reached for a soda with a red sticky note and removed the note before handing it to Kuwahara, who smiled.

"Thank you." She said, opening it and taking a sip, making John smile gently as he spoke to her.

"You are very welcome." He said, watching Miyazaki open her drink and take a sip, while he grabbed a drink without a sticky note on it.

"So what do you want to ask me?" John said. Miyazaki was about to speak, but Kuwahara spoke first.

"My name is Kuwahara, and I need to know, what's it like being rich? I always wondered what it was like." She asked, making Miyazaki glare at her. Before she could reprimand, John laughed out.

"Well, it depends, you enjoy more of life, but you also have your own struggle that non-rich people have. Take my father, for example, he spends anywhere from 18 to 20 hours a day making sure our business in Asia runs smoothly. Most people wouldn't be able to handle that amount of work." He said before taking a sip and speaking again.

"Being rich has its perks, but to keep the riches, you have to work much more than people think. You have to plan for everything, and even then, you still will have issues pop up. And it's much harder than someone working 9 to 5. People have this false idea that rich people have it easy; you don't become rich by having an easy life. In fact, to become rich, you have to suffer way more in the beginning than everyone else." John said while leaning into the seat.

"I am sorry, sh-" Miyazaki was trying to speak when her vision went blurry, and she dropped the water bottle. Kuwahara did the same thing.

"Wh-a-t is hap-pening?" Miyazaki said before looking at John, who was smiling.

"Yo-" She said before passing out. John couldn't help but chuckle.

"You shouldn't underestimate me because of my age; it came back to bite you in the ass, dear police women," John said before taking a sip of water.

"Hurry to the mansion," John said while pressing the intercom. And the driver sped up; it took only five minutes to reach the mansion, and John opened the door as two men walked over.

"Bring the two to my room, and make sure no one bothers me," John said as he walked towards the mansion, and the men grabbed the two police women.
