Chapter 28 - Chapter 28-18+

When we arrived at my building, my younger sister was waiting at the entrance.

"Xuanman, what are you doing here? It's so late..." I called out to her after getting out of the car.

"Brother! Brother Chenyu!" Only when my sister called out did I notice that Zhao Chenyu had also gotten out of the car, carrying the pastries he bought... and then he handed them to Xuanman?!

What's going on?

"Here you go!"

"Hehe! Thank you, Brother Chenyu!"

"Haha, as long as you're happy. Senior, I'll head off now!" Without waiting for me to ask, Zhao Chenyu drove away.

"Yay! Ta-da! So many delicious things... Wow! And they're not cheap either!" Xuanman opened the bag in her hands.

"What's going on?" I gently tapped Xuanman's head.

"Ouch! Bad brother, that hurts!" Xuanman lightly retaliated, but then immediately handed the bag in her hand to me.

"Here, you hold it, brother!"

"First, tell me what's going on?" I dodged and asked.

"Isn't Brother Chenyu treating you to dinner today? I bet him whether you'd go or not, and he lost, so he bought me some snacks. Hehe!" My sister giggled as she handed the bag to me.

"Alright then... So that's how it is..." I muttered, lowering my head to look at the bag in my hand.

What kind of nonsense is this? How absurd!

"Mom, I'm back!" I entered the house, changed my shoes, walked through the entryway, and set the bag aside. At a glance, I saw Mom sitting gracefully on the sofa under the warm living room light, dressed in a loose silk robe, as serene and elegant as a water lily under the moonlight. However, the loose robe, stretched taut across her chest without a single wrinkle, rose and fell slightly with her breathing. It wasn't just me—anyone's gaze would inevitably be drawn to Mom's full, voluptuous breasts.

What a pity... why doesn't my sister have them too...

Mom was holding her phone flat in front of her, scrolling through something.

"I say, the beautiful Ms. Liu Wanyi, your posture looks a bit strange—it really ruins your elegance..." I walked over to Mom and teased her.

"Go on, go on! What do you know, you silly boy? This is called maintaining proper posture at all times. You should do the same—don't spend all day looking down at your phone or craning your neck at the computer. Who knows, you might just become the fifty-eighth ethnic group one day..." Seeing me leaning against her shoulder, Mom gently wrapped her free arm around me.

"The fifty-eighth? What ethnic group... huh, Mom?" I asked curiously.

"The 'Head-Down Tribe'!" Mom said softly, tousling my hair.

"But why the fifty-eighth... what about the fifty-seventh?" Xuanman also snuggled up to Mom's other side, slipping under her arm, wrapping her arms around Mom's waist, and resting her head against Mom's full, proud chest.

"The fifty-seventh is the 'Work Tribe'..." Mom pinched Xuanman's fair, tender cheek and smiled.

"Pfft, haha..."

I laughed and buried my face in Mom's shoulder—soft, plump, and warm, giving me an overwhelming sense of peace.

"Haha... Mom, when did you start telling such corny jokes?" Xuanman trembled with laughter, and Mom's ample breasts shook along with her.

"I say, dear sister, once you start working, you'll realize it's no joke..." I quietly nuzzled my head against Mom's chest.

"Go on, go on! You're still studying too—why are you acting all mature with me? Hmph!" Xuanman pouted and tightened her arms around Mom's waist.

"Hey! You little troublemaker, if you don't behave, I'll..." I trailed off, resting my head on Mom's incredibly soft, full breasts—it felt so comfortable.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, brother! Good brother! Hehehehe!" Xuanman pleaded for mercy, but her hand sneaked to my waist, playfully tickling me.

"Hey, you little rascal!" And so, with Mom sandwiched between us, my sister and I began to playfully wrestle.

"Alright, alright! You two, stop fooling around and lie down nicely!" Mom had both of us rest our heads on her chest.

"Don't move, let me adjust the settings." I watched as Mom's slender, fair fingers adjusted the camera parameters on the screen.

"Don't move, three, two, one—" With the screen freezing for an instant, another beautiful moment of me, Mom, and my sister Xuanman was captured.

"Let me see, let me see!" Xuanman eagerly tapped the screen.

The photo popped up. In the frame, Mom's stunningly beautiful and mature face wore a gentle smile, radiating an immaculate maternal glow. Xuanman and I were snuggled tightly against Mom, smiling sweetly, just like when we used to nestle beside her as children. Everything felt so perfect.

"Oh, this is really nice. Such beautiful moments—you can never capture enough of them..." Mom swayed her head slightly from side to side, like a little girl overflowing with happiness after receiving roses.

"Not really! Look at my brother—his face is all dark, and his smile is totally unnatural. Hmph!" Xuanman pointed at me in the photo.

"Hmm, it is a bit. Wait!" Mom leaned closer to me and sniffed carefully. "Why do you smell like alcohol? Have you been drinking?" she asked, pointing at me.

"No, my roommate was drinking. I just had a soda," I hurriedly explained.

"It's fine if you drink, just don't overdo it," Mom said without pressing further.

"Hmph, why can't I drink too..." Xuanman mumbled.

"You mischievous child, why do you have to compare everything with your brother? You haven't even graduated from high school yet!" Mom gently pinched Xuanman's ear, scolding her tenderly.

"Hmph—then I'll drink after I graduate. I'll drink a whole case!" Xuanman pouted and buried her face back into Mom's chest.

"You wouldn't dare! You're a girl. Who's going to look after you if you get drunk alone?" Mom couldn't reach her ear this time, but as she turned her head, she spotted my sister's perky butt sticking out. She raised her hand and gave it a light smack.

"Ow..." Even though Mom didn't hit her hard at all, my sister let out a cry that sounded like a pig being slaughtered—she was definitely doing it on purpose.

"You little rascal, why are you so naughty? You're nothing like me!" Mom grumbled.

"Bleh bleh bleh... mwah!" Xuanman stuck her tongue out at Mom but then planted a kiss on her cheek. Mom pinched her face, her expression full of affection.

"Alright, both of you go back to your rooms. I'm going to look at my phone for a bit..." Mom picked up her phone, and a notification instantly popped up on the screen.

It was from a social media app: "You have a new message."

Seems like Mom was still sorting through her private messages.

"I'm going back to my room! Brother, you too! Let's go!" Xuanman tugged at me, pulling me toward the door. This girl never forgets her snacks.

We tiptoed carefully toward our rooms, but we still had to pass through the living room.

"Huh? Where did that big bag of snacks come from?" Mom pointed at the bag in my hand.

"My brother bought them!" Xuanman, realizing we'd been caught, quickly dragged me into the room.

"Honestly..." The last thing I saw before leaving was Mom shaking her head with a smile, looking both helpless and gentle.

"Scared me to death! Is Mom not following us?" Xuanman peered through the crack in the door, keeping an eye on the hallway.

I placed the bag on the table and turned to look at Xuanman.

She was bent over, her head pressed against the door crack, which made her butt stick up. For some reason, my gaze lingered on her familiar, delicate figure.

My adorable little sister has a slender figure with just a hint of softness. Her fair, glowing skin radiates youthful innocence, and her messy, tousled bob haircut adds to her pure, cute charm. Below her slender waist, her perky little bottom wiggles playfully from side to side. Needless to say, she's a beauty in the making. Though she's not as voluptuous and mature as Mom, she's like a youthful, delicate version of Auntie Ouyang.

Ah, I wonder which lucky guy will end up with her someday.

Bang! The sound of the door closing snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Hehe! Mom didn't follow me. Let's see what Chenyu bought!" Xuanman cheerfully dumped everything from the bag onto the table. But my attention was completely focused on the way she kept calling him "Chenyu-ge."

Since when did she get so close to Zhao Chenyu? The image of Zhao Chenyu riding Auntie Ouyang flashed through my mind again, turning into a mix of angry red and sorrowful blue that swirled inside me, leaving me momentarily lost in confusion.

Who would have thought all this happened just a few hours ago?

"Brother—what's wrong with you?" While I was lost in thought, a warm touch on my forehead brought me back. It was Xuanman's soft little hand.

"Brother, are you running a fever…? Huh, no? Your temperature's normal… Then you must be acting silly!" Xuanman held a small cake in her hands, opened the box, and took a bite.

"Mmm—so good!"

"You're the silly one!" I pinched her arm.

"Huh? You're not silly? Good, because then there'd be no one to take the blame for me! Mmm… so tasty!" Xuanman blinked her big round eyes at me, looking smug.

"Oh, you! Are you really my sister? Huh? Did Mom pick you up off the street?" I grabbed her arm and playfully tossed her onto the bed.

"Ah… Brother! Lin Xuanyu! Watch out—the cake's going to fall on the bed, and Mom will kill us! Ah!" My sister yelled while trying to push the cake toward me.

Oh, so this little troublemaker wants to get me in trouble! I grabbed her wrist, opened my mouth wide, and stuffed the small cake inside.

"Ah! Bad brother! You ate it all!" Xuanman squeezed my cheeks with both hands, trying to stop me from chewing. But I swallowed it anyway.

"Ah, yes! Food tastes better when you steal it!" I lay back with a mischievous grin.

"Hmph!" Xuanman turned over, facing away from me.

"Xuanman? Xuanman?" I shook her arm, but she decisively brushed me off.

"Ah, come on, there's still plenty more—the whole table's full!" I scooted closer to her side, and surprisingly, she didn't move away.

"Hmph! You bullied me! Not cool. Hmph!" The little girl's temper was still flaring.

"No, no, don't be mad~ I'll buy you one next time, okay?" I said in a coaxing tone.

"Hmph! That's more like it!" She turned back toward me, and our bodies were now so close I could feel her breath. Her slightly raised chest was almost pressed against mine.

"Wait, don't move, Brother!" She stared at my face and suddenly told me to stay still.

I froze as if paralyzed, my eyes following her finger as it moved closer and closer to my face, until I felt a warm touch at the corner of my mouth… She wiped it with her finger. When I looked at her hand again, there was a bit of cream and cake crumbs on her fingertip.

Just as I thought she would playfully rub against me, she suddenly stuck her finger into her own mouth.

"No... Xuanman!" I quickly called out to her.

"What's wrong, brother?" Xuanman looked at me with her finger in her mouth, her expression adorably clueless, looking utterly charming.

"There's plenty over there, why did you wipe it on the corner of my mouth?" I pretended to scold her.

"What, do you dislike me?"

"Of course not!"

"Well, then..."

"You little rascal, really..."

Before I could finish, my adorable sister, who was right in front of me, suddenly threw herself at me, and my arms were filled with her tender, soft, youthful body.

"Brother..." Xuanman rested her head on my shoulder, her voice muffled.

"What's wrong, Xuanman?" I gently held her, stroking her back.

"Will you ever leave me?" After asking, she buried her face deep into my chest.

The question caught me off guard, leaving me frozen in place even longer than when I had deliberately stopped myself earlier.

"Silly girl, how could I ever leave you! Shouldn't I be the one asking if you'll leave me?" I was reminded of the scene I had imagined earlier while staring at her backside—Xuanman getting married in the future.

"No! I don't want to! I don't want to leave you, or Mom and Dad! Or Sister Jingyan, Aunt Ouyang, and Uncle Qin! I don't want to leave any of you, I don't want to..." Xuanman buried her head even deeper, her voice now clearly choked with sobs.

It was then that I realized I might have said the wrong thing.

"Alright, alright, you haven't even finished high school yet. Don't think about all these messy things, okay..." I stroked the back of her head, trying to comfort her.

"You can't leave me!" Xuanman's voice suddenly grew louder. I looked down and saw that she had lifted her head, her big round eyes now rimmed with red.

"Hey, don't overthink it, you..."

"Brother—don't leave me..." As Xuanman spoke, I felt an even tighter grip around my waist.

"Okay, okay, I won't leave you. I'll even bring you a beautiful sister-in-law who's known me for a long time, alright..." My hand moved from the back of her head downward, gently stroking her, trying to soothe the sudden surge of emotion.

"Mmm—" My sister hummed, pouting, and buried her face in my chest once more.

"Alright, stop thinking about all these messy things for now. Instead, think about how the pile of snacks I bought ended up scattered all over the table in your room." I stood up, ruffled her hair, and dashed off in a flash.

"Brother—ah... you big meanie!" My sister's shout trailed behind me, unable to catch up.
