Chapter 170 - Chapter 170: Top-Tier Gourmet Hunter, Linne Horsdoeuvre

Dwun smelled the fragrance, immersed himself in it, and revealed an intoxicated expression as he praised it again and again.

Beside him, List also nodded with difficulty.

"Come on, I'll fill your cups."

He said he would fill them, but with teacups this small, only a slight pour was enough to fill each little cup to the brim.

And Roy still had a great deal of it in his stock. More importantly, he had already memorized the location of that place. The next time he used Instant Transmission, he would be able to move there directly.

That lake was practically Roy's backyard, free for him to harvest as he pleased.

Roy tilted the gourd he held out downward. The three of them hurriedly raised their cups, then all widened their eyes as they watched liquid of seven different colors flow from the mouth of Roy's gourd.

"Red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple. Seven colors interweaving with one another. This really is the first time in my life I've ever seen wine like this!" Dwun counted the colors in his cup and once again expressed his amazement.

"Yes. It has colors like a rainbow. Just looking at it is beautiful enough to make someone lose themselves in it." A fascinated look appeared in List's eyes.

"This is a marvelous wine! Does this wine have a name?" Ging sniffed the fragrance and spoke with admiration.

"It does. I call it Seven-Treasure Crystal Wine. As for why it's called Seven-Treasure, it doesn't simply refer to the colors. You'll understand once you taste it. Remember, savor it slowly in seven mouthfuls."

"Seven-Treasure Crystal Wine? That really is a good name."

The three of them followed Roy's instructions and began tasting it in small mouthfuls.

"This is—?! So that's how it is. There are seven different flavors!" List exclaimed in amazement.

"And each color basically corresponds to a different flavor. A miraculous wine. It truly lives up to the name Seven-Treasure." Ging sighed in admiration as well, and at the same time, his resolve became even firmer.

"So this is a product of the Dark Continent? Looks like I need to speed up my progress a little. The Dark Continent is somewhere I absolutely must go...!"

"Do you feel it? The aura inside our bodies has risen by a level!" Dwun said excitedly.

"Yes, of course I felt it." A smile appeared at the corners of List's mouth, and his eyes also shone brightly.

The aura inside his body had also grown by a level. In addition, his body, which had loosened up somewhat after so long without fighting, was gradually regaining its vitality.

"A wine that can increase strength. This is simply even better than the essence of the rare medicinal herb I have."

Ging also felt the aura inside his body increase somewhat, though it was not too obvious.

For Seven-Treasure Crystal Wine, the lower someone's strength was, the more aura it increased, and the more obvious the degree of growth became. By the same logic, for someone with higher strength, the increase was not nearly as significant.

But this did not obstruct the precious meaning and value of this treasure wine. After all, how many truly powerful people were there in this world?

Even a powerful person like Ging could gain some aura from the treasure wine, let alone those with weaker strength!

Moreover, Roy had specifically used a healing technique to remove the harmful factors from this treasure wine, so there was absolutely no issue of the increased power damaging one's foundation.

In other words, on the Six Continents, this treasure wine was simply priceless!

Seeing Dwun and List absorbed in the deliciousness of the treasure wine, Roy smiled and did not disturb them.

After raising the gourd and taking another gulp of wine himself, Roy thought for a moment. Then, with another Instant Transmission, he left Limeiro Castle.

At the Hunter Association Headquarters, Netero had just put down the phone when a figure instantly appeared in front of him.

"Next time you appear, can you not do it so suddenly? I'm an old man at this age. I can't handle being startled like that."

There was no need to guess who had come. Netero said he had been startled, but there was no change in his expression at all.

"Sorry, Chairman-san. This time really was a little reckless of me. But I came here because I wanted to ask you about someone."

Roy was not polite about it either and directly sat down in front of Netero's desk.

"Who do you want to ask about?" Netero answered without even raising his head.

"The person I want to ask about is Linne Horsdoeuvre."

"That really is quite the coincidence. I only just got off the phone with her, and now you come asking about her situation."

Linne Horsdoeuvre, the oldest female Hunter in the world, was also a legendary Gourmet Hunter. More than sixty years ago, she had formed a small team with the forty-six-year-old Netero, who was known at the time as the strongest Nen user, and Zigg Zoldyck of the Zoldyck family, who was Mahā's son. The three of them had smuggled themselves past the V5 and gone to the Dark Continent.

Roy wanted to find Linne because she was the most outstanding Gourmet Hunter in the world. She was also the only Gourmet Hunter who had been to the Dark Continent. Roy wanted to ask Linne to properly cook the Black-White Fish after its toxicity had been removed.

Roy vaguely had a feeling that a Black-White Fish capable of living in Seven-Treasure Crystal Wine absolutely was not as simple as turning silver-gray after being grilled!

"...Then may I ask what you want to find her for?" Netero stroked his beard and asked calmly.

"I just obtained a strange new ingredient, and I want to ask her to cook it."

"Oh? What ingredient is it? You should know that Linne is very old now, and she rarely cooks for others anymore. Even I, this old man, haven't eaten her cooking in several years."

"I believe Linne-senpai will definitely help me cook it. She won't refuse." Roy spoke softly. "Because this ingredient does not belong to the Six Continents."

Netero's hand paused as he stroked his beard. Then he let out a soft sigh and closed his eyes.

"As expected. You really did use that Instant Transmission ability and go to the Dark Continent. Tell me, you didn't bring back anything unbelievable, did you?"

"Calamities? You can rest assured on that point. I went there using Instant Transmission, so the Gatekeepers never had time to notice me."

Roy shrugged, then once again took out the red gourd.

Seeing Roy's red gourd and the faint aroma of wine still drifting from it, Netero truly confirmed it. That fragrance that had previously spread throughout the entire Hunter Association had indeed been this fellow's doing.

"Is that something you obtained from the Dark Continent too?" Netero looked at Roy with a complicated gaze.
