A dangerous look flashed briefly across his eyes.
"We'll only announce the pregnancy once it becomes impossible to hide your stomach."
Finn unconsciously swallowed hard.
"You'll need to be extremely careful from now on," Orion continued. "I'll assign additional guards to stay around you at all times.
Finn's eyes widened in complete disbelief as his trembling hand slowly moved toward his stomach. His throat bobbed hard as he swallowed nervously, shock written all over his pale face.
"Are you serious right now?" he asked, his voice cracking slightly. "Like… I'm actually pregnant? There's seriously a baby growing inside me?"
His brows furrowed deeply as his mind struggled to process everything.
"We just had sex," Finn continued, staring at Orion like he had completely lost his mind. "How could I possibly get pregnant immediately? Does that explain the nausea and dizziness? It wasn't because of the monsters… but because there's actually a tiny life growing inside me?"
