Within the records of the Universe, it is decreed that all warriors are born under one of the Seven Paths, each Path defining the origin of their power, the nature of their cultivation, and the limits of their true mastery. Though all warriors may study techniques beyond their birth Path, no individual may surpass the natural-born wielder of a Path when both stand at equal cultivation. This principle is known as the Law of Path Purity and Limitation, and it governs all combat, growth, and creation within the universe. A warrior may borrow strength, but never inherit dominance beyond their origin.
Memo I — Path of the Weapon Sage (Rank One)
Weapon Sages walk the supreme path of combat, where weapon, body, and soul are forged into a single existence. Their cultivation revolves around weapon resonance, allowing them to bond deeply with any chosen armament—be it blade, spear, chain, or relic. Each breakthrough strengthens this bond, unlocking new forms, techniques, and manifestations of killing intent. At higher realms, their weapon ceases to be an external tool and becomes a direct extension of their will. Though Weapon Sages may attempt to forge or modify equipment, their creations lack the deep structural perfection of true creators, as their focus lies in mastery of use rather than origin of creation.
Memo II — Path of the Close-Combat Warrior (Rank Two)
Close-Combat Warriors cultivate the body as the ultimate weapon. Through continuous refinement of bone, muscle, blood, and neural pathways, they achieve overwhelming physical supremacy. Their power grows explosively with each realm, granting monstrous strength, unmatched speed, and extreme durability. At higher stages, their very presence distorts pressure in their surroundings. While they may utilize weapons or gear, and even attempt to craft them, their creations remain crude compared to specialized creators, as their Path prioritizes destruction over design.
Memo III — Path of Space and Gravity Manipulation (Rank Three)
Warriors of this Path cultivate dominion over spatial structure and gravitational force. Their training refines perception, allowing them to sense distortions in distance, mass, and trajectory. As they advance, they bend space, collapse gravity fields, and disrupt the natural flow of motion itself. Their power is among the most oppressive in combat. While capable of shaping matter through spatial compression, their ability to create stable equipment is limited, as their control is destructive rather than constructive.
Memo IV — Path of the Illusionist (Rank Four)
Illusionists cultivate the mind, spirit, and emotional resonance. Their power lies in shaping perception, trapping opponents within fabricated realities drawn from fear, memory, or desire. As their cultivation deepens, their illusions gain density, approaching physical manifestation. At high realms, their illusions can inflict real damage upon the soul. Though they can influence the perception of weapons and even simulate constructs, such creations lack true substance and cannot match the stability of forged relics.
Memo V — Path of Telekinesis (Rank Five)
Telekinesis Warriors cultivate mental force and precision control over matter. Their abilities allow them to manipulate objects across distance, control multiple targets, and dominate the battlefield through invisible force. As they grow stronger, their control becomes more refined, enabling them to shape constructs, compress materials, and simulate weapon forms. However, these constructs lack permanence and structural integrity compared to true forged equipment, as they rely on continuous mental output.
Memo VI — Path of Elemental Channeling (Rank Six)
Elemental Channelers cultivate affinity with natural forces such as fire, lightning, wind, water, earth, and ice. Their power manifests through destruction and environmental dominance. With advancement, they compress and fuse elemental energy into devastating techniques. Though capable of shaping elemental constructs, these remain unstable and temporary. Attempts at forging permanent gear are limited, as elemental energy lacks the structural cohesion required for lasting creation.
Memo VII — Path of the Etherforger (Rank Seven)
Etherforgers cultivate Ether, the foundational energy beneath all matter. Unlike other Paths, their power is inherently constructive rather than destructive. They possess the rare ability known as Etheric Invention, allowing them to design, forge, refine, and evolve weapons, armor, barriers, staffs, and all forms of combat equipment. While all Paths may attempt creation, only Etherforgers achieve true perfection in structure, balance, and energy flow. A Weapon Sage may craft a blade, but an Etherforger defines its existence. Their creations surpass all others in refinement, stability, and potential. At higher realms, Etherforgers can create relics that rival those naturally born from the universe itself.
On Universal Creation and the Role of Etherforgers
It is recorded that the universe itself occasionally gives birth to weapons, armor, and artifacts of immense power.
These natural creations are rare and unpredictable. However, even such relics often require refinement. Etherforgers stand as the only Path capable of fully understanding, enhancing, and perfecting these cosmic-born items. While any warrior may create tools or weapons, the result is always limited by their Path. Thus, a creation forged by an Etherforger will always surpass one made by any other Path of equal cultivation.
On Astraforged Relics — The Universal Classification of Combat Equipment
All weapons, armor, barriers, staffs, and combat instruments are collectively recognized as Astraforged Relics. These relics may be born naturally from the universe or forged by intelligent beings. Their strength, quality, and rarity are divided into five distinct Grades, each representing a level of power, refinement, and influence in battle.
Grade V — Common Relics
The lowest classification of Astraforged Relics. These are basic weapons and equipment with minimal energy integration. They are widely used by low-level warriors and possess little to no enhancement capability. Their structure is simple, and their lifespan is limited under high-pressure combat.
Grade IV — Enhanced Relics
These relics are infused with controlled energy, granting improved durability and moderate amplification of the wielder's abilities. They are commonly used by trained warriors and serve as reliable tools in structured combat. Their construction shows deliberate design, though still lacking higher-level refinement.
Grade III — Ascendant Relics
At this stage, relics begin to exhibit unique properties. They can amplify specific abilities, respond to the user's energy, and display early signs of specialization. Their internal structure is more complex, allowing for greater efficiency in combat. An example includes mid-level forms of the Eclipse Rod, which demonstrates growing power as it evolves.
Grade II — Celestial Relics
Celestial Relics are rare and powerful instruments of war. They possess advanced energy systems, unique abilities, and in some cases, semi-sentient responses to their wielder. These relics can generate barriers, unleash destructive forces, or significantly enhance a warrior's Path abilities. At peak condition, the Eclipse Rod stands within this Grade as a perfected weapon of immense capability.
Grade I — Absolute Relics
The highest classification of Astraforged Relics. These are legendary creations of overwhelming power, often carrying will, memory, or identity within them. They can influence large-scale battles and even alter the flow of combat across vast regions.
Absolute Relics are exceedingly rare, requiring either cosmic birth or the pinnacle craftsmanship of Etherforgers. Among them stands Aetherius, a weapon recognized as a symbol of absolute authority and perfection.
Final Doctrine
All warriors may walk beyond their Path, may learn, adapt, and create—but their origin defines their limit. In combat, mastery decides victory. In creation, refinement defines supremacy. And in all things, the balance between Paths sustains the order of the universe under the Starfall Covenant.
