Chapter 104 - Chapter 13: The Supreme Demon Lord's Betrayal-9

Meanwhile, Kael was sitting in his office, wearing a full mask. "Renjiro, can we do anything for this product?"

Renjiro leaned over the product design print, his left eye sparkling. "Kael, I analyzed it. The product itself is good, but the main issue lies in the neck area of the brush."

Kael raised his arms. "What is it?"

Renjiro smirked. "You need to give it elasticity."

Kael smiled. "Oh... thanks for your help."

Kael stood up and called a meeting. Staff rushed toward the room, asking, "Why did he call us?"

"Who knows?" someone replied.

When they opened the door, they saw Kael copying data from a flash drive. Even behind his mask, he gave them a quick glance before returning his gaze to his laptop. After copying the data, he turned and switched on the office smart screen.

Though his face remained covered, all the shareholders and HR managers could feel Kael's cold gaze.

Kael stood up and began explaining the concept. "As you know, we are currently working on an AI toothbrush project. It will help people who can't get monthly checkups due to their busy schedules. In upcoming development stages, we need to add soft bristles and a long, flexible neck."

A female executive stood up. "Sir, I know this is an exclusive idea, but we also have to consider the budget."

Kael looked at her and nodded. "Yeah, that's why we will start with a simple brush, adding basic scanners, an AI assistant connected to mobile devices, and a waterproof system."

She sat back down, and the financial advisor stood up. "At this stage, who will be our brand ambassador?"

Kael looked up, resting his hand on his chin. "I'll figure that out, but it shouldn't be someone famous."

Everyone nodded. One person commented, "If she's beautiful, who cares if she isn't a superstar?"

Kael nodded and closed the file. "Now work hard, and everyone will see new benefits in this company."

Excited, everyone ran back to their desks.

Kael turned and entered the elevator. Once the doors closed, he removed his mask, revealing a face dripping with sweat. He murmured, "It feels strange—a nineteen-year-old boy giving orders to experienced forty-year-olds."

He put his mask back on. With a chime, the elevator doors opened, and he stepped out, walking toward his cabin.

He sat down, and Riya came in. "Sir, they are coming."

Kael nodded. "Don't keep them waiting."

Riya nodded and stepped out. A few hours later, Kael was still working on the project inside his cabin when Riya returned. "Sir, they are here."

"Alright, get ready to work," Kael said calmly. He stood up, put on his coat, and asked, "Do you have all the files?"

"Yes, sir," Riya replied.

Kael took out a pen, clicked it, and said, "Let's go."

He headed directly to the meeting room and sat in the Chairman's seat. Everyone remained standing. Kael let out a cold chuckle and said, "Sit down."

Everyone sat as the main board head, Uncle Vrenj, entered. Kael immediately stood up, and everyone followed his lead.

Kael bowed. "Good morning, Sir."

Uncle Vrenj smiled. "Good morning. Sit down, everyone."

Kael adjusted his mask. "After you, sir."

Uncle Vrenj raised his eyebrows and chuckled. "Alright."

He took his seat with an air of experience. Kael continued, "Sir, today we are going to discuss our new product, the AI toothbrush."

While speaking, Kael's hands were trembling slightly. Observing this, someone whispered, "Our boss is usually an ice mountain, yet his hands are shivering."

Another manager motioned for him to keep quiet.

Kael presented the concept and added, "Sir, please let me know if any changes are needed. I have already outlined our future plans for the product."

Mr. Vrenj stood up, walked past everyone, and approached Kael. "Good job. By the way, why do you wear this mask?"

Everyone's faces turned pale with fear. In the past, a spoiled twenty-one-year-old heir had asked the same question, and Kael had slapped him so hard he fell to the ground with a mouth full of blood.

The temperature in the room felt as though it dropped several degrees.

Kael stood up. "Because, sir, this is my father's company, and I want to build it using my father's legacy, not my face."

Uncle Vrenj closed his eyes, tears welling up when he opened them. The older executives felt tears in their eyes too, remembering when Adrian had first taken the Chairman's seat. Under his leadership, the company had turned to gold. He, too, had started at a very young age, just like Kael.

A heavy silence fell over the room.

Kael broke the silence with a soft sigh. "Alright, can we consider the contract officially signed?"

Vrenj smiled and nodded. "Yes!"

Everyone stood and applauded, filling the room with applause as Vrenj signed the documents.

Kael gathered the papers and returned to his cabin. Removing his mask, he leaned back in his chair and whispered to himself, "Kael, don't cry... don't cry."

Tears spilled over his eyes. Smiling weakly, he wiped them away and murmured, "Am I crying?"

He rested his head on the desk. Moments later, he felt a gentle hand on his shoulder. When Kael raised his head, Riya noticed his striking white hair and thought, A young boy with white hair?

Tears streamed down his face as his golden eyes met hers.

She stepped back, startled. "Sir, you aren't wearing your mask..."

Kael buried his head back on the desk. "Leave me alone."

Riya left the cabin and immediately called Sara. "Sara, it's Riya. Sir is crying!"

On the rooftop of a bungalow where she was practicing cultivation, Sara stood up abruptly and shouted, "What?!"
