"Ah- uhh.. Shit, i think my hearing is messed up.." Cayde repeatedly scratched the back of his head, he was trying to find a reason to not believe what he just heard.
And yet, his doubt was once again cleared when the demihuman girl infront of him replied in a tone that he was familiar with, way too familiar for his own good.
"You're Cayde.. CaybleZero?– Heh, looks like even fate itself couldn't separate us." She said. "What are you spacing out for dumbass, im your pal here. In the flesh– Well, maybe not exactly the same body as my previous life.."

Cayde stood still, staring into nothingness as his mind drifted away. When the demihuman girl, now confirmed to be Eito himself pushed him lightly, Cayde then woke up from his daydreaming.
"W- Woah.. A- ah, Y- YOU'RE REALLY EITO!!!????" Cayde shouted, his loud voice caused a flock of birds to fly away from a nearby tree branch.
Cayde had a lot of questions, too many to count, and too many for Eito to answer, but he couldn't wait, his curiosity was about to explode.
Just as he was opening his mouth to speak, Cayde and Eito suddenly heard a groan near them.

Having heard the deep groan, the two of them immediately turned their head to the left, to where the direction of where the sound came from. That's when they notice another person, his face looked old, like a middle-aged warrior who's entire life only filled with battles. He was sitting behind a tree, his body limp, his injury was fatal, and if he was the one that made the groaning sound, then it could mean that he was still alive.
"Urghhh.. What the fuck are you doing.. Kill that woman!" The middle-aged man spoke again, this time he sounded angry, his voice so deep that it felt like it came from the depth of an ocean.
"There's someone alive?..." Cayde said, he wasn't expecting to see a survivor.
Kill who?.. Eito?
"W- what.. what happened.." Eito was shocked, this was his first time seeing someone injured this badly.
Well, Cayde could only stay quiet, he had seen worse scene, and it's just a few steps away from him.
Hmm, this is quite a problem.. I bet he'll throw up if he saw what's behind that bush..
"...I think, he's my– He's a friend of this body's previous owner." Cayde said, his head turned towards Eito, but his gaze was locked at the injured man.

Cayde and Eito quickly made their way to the injured man, they stood not far away from the man, then they crouched to see his face closer.
"...Yo." Cayde waved casually at the man.
He's not angry at me, his gaze is focused at Eito.
"Keurgh.. Bastard.." The man said after yet another groan, he sounded incredibly pissed. "What the fuck happened to you and her.. I saw both of you died, how—"
As the man was speaking, Cayde cut his words off from his mouth, he put his index finger to his lips and shushed at the man.
"Sshh.. You shouldn't ask that– But well, since you're dying anyway, i'll tell you, im not your friend anymore, your 'friend' had indeed died. And the one you're seeing right now? Sorry, it's not him." Cayde coldly said, he spared some time to give the injured man a cunning smile.
"W- what the fuck.. Keurghh!.. Shit! Who are you.." The man tried moving his legs and arms, but to no avail, his body was already breaking down and is on the verge of death. "Fucking bastard! Just wait until.. Keurghh!! Our boss heard about this.."
The man furrowed his brows, he clenched his stomach tightly, trying to stop all the blood from flowing, only for his hand to be stained red.
Then, he whispered.
"Shit, who !^#%!&# !@(#, !$@%&!*÷ sed a unique magic.."
Cayde's eyes slightly widened, he didn't clearly hear what the man said, but he was sure that he heard him saying something along the lines of unique magic.
"Unique magic?" Cayde asked. "Looks like you got something to say."
"Tch!" The injured man clicked his tongue and gritted his teeths. "I guess you're not human anymore.. Fuck! Don't think i'll give you any information!"

Suddenly, the man bit his own tongue, and he instantly fell unconscious. His wounds still open, blood kept flowing, and if he can't close it up with his hand or something, he'll eventually die in about a minute or two.

"...He looks pretty strong, and that.." Cayde said as he looked at a sword that was laid down on the grass near the man. It wasn't within the man's reach, so he couldn't use it to attack Cayde. "Im assuming he– And the others were fighting something and lost."
"Seriously?" Eito replied from behind. "The others? Where?"
"You'll throw up if you saw them, they've been mutilated." Cayde said before he stand up and looked around once more.
Well, now what.. Earlier i purposefully put up an act to make this guy think that im some kind of evil spirit or an edgelord.. But he wasn't fazed at all, he doesn't even think twice before killing himself.
Eito got reincarnated aswell, and he's now a girl.. I want to laugh, but not in our current situation, we need to find a way out.
Based on our clothes, and that guy's word about unique magic, this is undoubtely a fantasy world, if that's the case, then in a forest, usually there would be monsters like goblins, orcs, and trolls.
Me and Eito doesn't have any combat skill, so fighting a monster might be tough, but we won't be able to survive anyway if we just keep escaping.
In a world like this, the strong tramples on the weak, and who would want to be trampled like that, especially when it's your second life.
"...Eito, let's move out.. You and i made quite a few loud noises earlier, so chances are, there will be monsters coming soon, or a predator." Cayde said, he grabbed the iron sword that was on the ground and felt the weight of it in his hands.
Heavy.. But it's not something i can't lift, i could swing this.. Maybe this is because im not in my previous life's body.
...I'll stick with my dagger instead, this sword doesn't really suit my assassin-like fit..
Then, Cayde turned around to see Eito that was watching him closely, his body a little leaned on the right, despite everything around him, Eito seems relaxed the whole time.
"I see, i think i get it." Eito said, his girly voice definitely doesn't match his way of talking at all.
Cayde briefly thought.
Now that i looked at him longer, he actually turned into a total beauty.. Perfect body, and an appearance that's totally my type.. Also holy shit that breasts is massive..
Thankfully he looks like an adult woman, and not a child–
Eito continued his speech as he put his right hand beneath his chin.
"We possessed a dead body, and we're now in a medieval fantasy world, quite similar to Edenlord Chronicles, but i doubt this is the world of the game—
"We basically knew all of the map in that game and there's not many forests in Edenlord Chronicles, none of them has this exact landscape infront of us—
"Hmm, you're right.. A monster will definitely come here after hearing all of that noises. Im sure you already knew this, but we'll have to fight them sooner or later, in a dog eats dog world like this, being weak is the last thing you'd want—
"That's why.." Eito momentarily stopped to stare at Cayde.
"Heh, you're adapting to this way too quickly aren't you, well the same goes for me– Yeah, i have the same thought too.. It's our second life after all, this is the ultimate dream for someone like us, all of our wishes from the past, we can make them a reality here— That's why.." Cayde replied, he also stopped at the same last word as Eito.
The two of them soon smiled and said the same thing.
