Zelpher glanced at the nobles then back to Lilith. She raised an eyebrow in question.
"Well, is something wrong?" She calmly asked.
Zelpher sighed inwardly.
"I required a personal audience your majesty," he respectfully said.
Nobles as usual started to whisper while they looked around, each speculating what was going to be said but most, hoped this would be a respite from all the madness.
Lilith stood immediately. Anything that involved her beloved was of utmost importance to her.
"The hall remains sealed," she said with a steady voice," no one leaves until I say so."
A collective tension snapped back into place, their hopes crashed under her words.
Some of the nobles opened their mouths to protest but she continued before they could even say anything.
"Further questioning will continue in intervals. Any attempts to restrict this investigation will be treated as direct treason."
