Evie's eyes flashed with murderous intent. If Jessica knew what was best for her at this moment, she would better run without looking back.
Forcing her voice to remain entirely calm and level, Evie spoke softly. "Could the two of you please step aside?"
Lisa let out a sharp laugh, as though she had just heard a pathetic joke. "Jessica, did you hear that? The nobody actually thinks she can command us to move out of her way."
Evie had absolutely no interest in whatever warped delusion was running through their heads. She had infinitely more important things to focus on than picking a petty corridor fight with two bitter rivals.
Jessica chuckled darkly, stepping forward to narrow the gap between them. "Since I have zero intention of moving, you'll have to climb over my head to get through literally." She crossed her arms tightly over her chest, her posture dripping with arrogance.
