Celma swung her incandescent arm at Relly's torso.
Relly's body did not attempt to move; it was as if she were frozen.
A whirlwind of dust and air shot forward as Celma's fist reached its climax.
Celma's arm slammed into the unhittable woman, and with a blast of air, Relly was sent flying.
As the dust settled, Celma looked at Relly's unconscious body and sighed.
Her right arm was raised above her head, drops of blood spilled from where she had been hit, especially badly, and her entire body ached with something fierce.
The battle had been fierce and very tough, but Celma had prevailed in the end.
Her bright blonde hair fluttered in the wind, having been taken out of a ponytail by the intensity of the duel.
Her bright blue eyes stung from the dirt that had been thrown into them, and her skin was bruised, and a few bones were even broken.
Yet she had won; she was the victor in this first round.
As she was about to fall over, a small woman appeared behind her and touched her back.
After a moment or two, Celma felt as if she had never fought in the battle. Her body went back to an undamaged state.
The small woman removed her hand and walked over to the unconscious Relly and touched her skin, gliding it over the especially bad wounds.
The wounds disappeared as the hand passed over them, and after a few moments, her body was as it had been before.
Before Celma could thank the woman, the announcer spoke in his booming voice.
"The right arm of the gods, Celma, has won the first round! The battle had taken only ten minutes, and what ten minutes it was! Congrats, Celma, you have earned your raise and are moving on to round two!"
The audience erupted with cheers and applause
Celma smiled slightly. She felt bad about hurting Relly, but she really needed her research funds to go up; she couldn't keep borrowing from Celer. He was getting a bit antsy with her.
Celma began to walk over to the woman and Relly, but the woman waved her away with a hand, her sleeve rolled up.
"Don't worry about her; I'll handle her, so go relax."
The woman was clearly a doctor or a healer of some kind, so Celma believed her. Turning around, Celma left the arena.

Solaris stared at the arena with awe in his eyes, yet his face was still hiding his feelings of exhilaration; he didn't want Selen to think he was weird for loving the fight so much. On top of that, he was also being shaken a lot by the excited Lucian; his enthusiasm never seemed to let up.
The urge to shut his left eye and view the secrets of Micy was very strong, but Solaris refused to give in; that was because he was being watched.
From the moment Solaris sat down, he had felt two especially intense gazes directed at him.
Solaris was frankly uncomfortable with this, so he had sent out two shards to find the sources of the onlookers. The first one was, as expected, from a box at the top of the rows of seats, the box where the announcer was located. That announcer was, of course, Jon Smit.
Yet the second was much more frightening; it was from directly behind Selen. This gaze was not the curious and possibly mischievous gaze Jon Smit exhibited, but instead a malicious and harmful look of hatred.
Solaris had attempted to look at the onlooker when he had turned to look at Selen, yet he couldn't make out the features of the man.
As Solaris was about to make an excuse to stand up and leave, taking a good look at the person behind Selen as he did, something moved.
Solaris's head shot backwards, yet he wasn't met with a weapon; instead, it was a delicate girl in a pink shirt with long, wavy red hair. Her eyes were green, the same as his own, and her arms were white as snow and wrapped lovingly around Selen's neck.
The girl stared daggers at Solaris and then turned to Selen's ear and whispered loud enough for Solaris to hear.
"Little icy, is this boy being pervy to you? Want big sister to deal with him?"
The girl's voice was sweet but felt sincere with her threat; it had a slight accent to it, one that Solaris didn't quite recognize.
Selen's face didn't change, yet her gaze shifted from looking down at the Arena to Solaris, then to the red-headed girl.
"No, remove your hands, Ania."
The red-headed girl, Ania, pouted dramatically, then removed her arms.
"Then at least let me sit in between you two; that way, his lewd gaze will be directed at me instead."
Solaris listened to this conversation with the utmost confusion and shock.
He had not expected any of what had just happened.
Selen has a sister!? No, wait WHAT DOES SHE MEAN LEWD GAZE!! On top of that, if I did, I would much rather look at Selen! Wait... No, who the hell is this person!
The onlooker from behind Solaris was apparently someone close to Selen, and by the gaze she had just given him, she was probably serious about the threat.
Before Solaris, Selen, or Ania could speak, Lucian spoke up.
"There are two of them. Why didn't you warn me she had a sister!?"
His eyes were filled with terror, and his smile was flipped into a quivering frown.
The three looked at Lucian: Solaris with a stifled laugh, Selen with an emotionless gaze, and Ania with a mischievous grin.
At the same time, all three of them spoke.
"I'm just as shocked as you."
"Shes not my sister."
"Can't handle us both, blondie? Come here, I'll let you try!"
Lucian's face paled at the invitation.
While Solaris grew more confused.
"You're not her sister? Then who are you?"
Selen feigned a sigh, and Ania spoke boldly.
"I'm Little Icy's best friend and soon-to-be lover!"
Selen chimed in factually.
"No, Ania is just some creep."
The red-headed girl's smile widened slightly, then opened as she spoke.
"You're just jealous; I'm more endowed than you, little icy."
Selen turned to the girl for the first time; Ania was puffing out her chest, attempting to prove her point.
"No, I just don't like..."
Ania interrupted.
"It's okay, Icy, I like girls with..."
Before Ania could finish her creepy thought, the booming voice of the announcer spoke.
"Everyone, get ready for round two!!!!!"
