ELARA
I stirred awake, warm and tucked into the crook of Draven's arm.
For a moment, I stayed there, listening to the steady rhythm of his breathing beneath my cheek. The world felt quiet. Still.
Then it came back, last night. The kiss. The way he had touched me like I was something precious. The way he had said my name as he took me over and over.
I shifted carefully, not wanting to break the moment. But his voice cut through the stillness, low and rough.
"You're awake."
I looked up. His silver eyes were already on me, unreadable, but not cold. There was something quieter in them. Less guarded.
"Morning," I whispered.
He reached up and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. His fin-gers brushed my cheek, warm and deliberate. He didn't say any-thing for a beat, and I felt my pulse rise under the weight of his gaze.
Then, finally, he murmured, "Last night... was good."
I blinked. It wasn't flowery. It wasn't romantic. But coming from him, it meant everything.
