After being sent flying across the sea by Bartholomew Kuma, Monkey D. Luffy and Sonic finally landed on a remote island.
The jungle around them was dense, filled with unfamiliar creatures and massive trees.
Sonic slowly pushed himself up, still feeling the impact.
"…Where did we even end up?"
Luffy looked around excitedly, completely unfazed.
Then, as they explored deeper, they unknowingly stepped into Amazon Lily—an island inhabited only by warriors.
Sonic paused for a second, sensing something off.
"…This place feels different."

In the dense jungle of Amazon Lily, Monkey D. Luffy casually grabbed a strange mushroom.
Sonic turned just in time to see it.
"Wait—don't eat—"
Too late.
Luffy already swallowed it.
A second later, the poison hit.
Luffy staggered, his body reacting badly.
Sonic stepped forward, ready to help—
—but suddenly he heard footsteps.
Multiple. Fast.
His instincts kicked in.
Sonic immediately moved and hid in the shadows, staying completely still.
From his position, he saw a group of warriors approaching.
All of them… women. Armed and alert.
Sonic narrowed his eyes.
"…An island with only female fighters."
He glanced at Luffy, now discovered and surrounded.
"…Yeah. This is dangerous."

From a hidden spot in the jungle of Amazon Lily, Sonic watched everything from a distance.
The island's warriors, including Marguerite, had taken Monkey D. Luffy in and were treating him, still thinking he was just a strange girl.
Sonic stayed quiet, observing carefully.
"…They're helping him… but they don't know."
Then everything changed.
The elder, Nyon, discovered the truth.
Luffy was a man.
Instantly, the calm atmosphere broke.
The warriors reacted with shock and hostility, surrounding Luffy as chaos spread across the area.
From the shadows, Sonic's expression sharpened.
"…So men aren't allowed here."
He looked at the situation seriously.
"Yeah… this just got worse."

After the truth was revealed, Monkey D. Luffy was quickly captured and locked away inside a guarded cell on Amazon Lily.
From the shadows, Sonic watched the guards rotate.
"…Alright. No more waiting."
In a flash, he slipped past the warriors at high speed, moving through the corridors without being seen.
Within seconds, he reached Luffy's cell.
Luffy looked up.
"Sonic?"
"Yeah. Let's go."
Sonic forced the lock open and grabbed Luffy's arm.
Before the guards could react, Sonic dashed out of the prison, carrying Luffy with him at high speed.
The alarm spread behind them as the warriors realized the escape.
Outside, Sonic didn't slow down.
"Hold on."
He accelerated, rushing through the jungle as both of them escaped deeper into the island.

After escaping the prison on Amazon Lily, Sonic carried Monkey D. Luffy far away from the guards and into a quieter, hidden part of the island.
They reached a small, empty area near the edge of a village where no one was around.
Sonic finally stopped and carefully set Luffy down.
"…You really eat anything, huh?"
Luffy, still recovering from the poison, gave a weak grin.
"I was hungry…"
Sonic sighed and sat nearby, keeping watch on the surroundings.
For now, both of them needed to rest.
Even while sitting, Sonic stayed alert, eyes scanning the area.
"Don't move too much," he said.
"We're not safe yet."

As Boa Hancock returned to Amazon Lily, her presence alone shifted the entire island's mood.
The warriors quickly spread the alert again.
Before Sonic and Monkey D. Luffy could fully recover, patrols closed in on their location.
Sonic heard the movement first.
"…They found us again."
He stood up immediately and pulled Luffy to his feet.
"No time. We move."
The warriors appeared through the trees, aiming arrows and surrounding the area.
Without hesitation, Sonic grabbed Luffy and dashed forward, breaking through a narrow gap before the circle could close.
Arrows flew behind them, but Sonic weaved through the forest at high speed, avoiding every shot.
"…That must be their leader," Sonic muttered, thinking about Hancock.
"If she's really that dangerous, we can't get caught."
Still injured but determined, he kept running, staying one step ahead of the island's warriors.

While trying to avoid the patrols on Amazon Lily, Monkey D. Luffy and Sonic rushed through a restricted area without realizing it.
They suddenly stopped.
In front of them was Boa Hancock.
Sonic immediately froze for a split second, realizing they had walked into a private space.
"…Wrong place."
But before they could leave, Sonic's eyes caught something important.
On Hancock's back, there was a strange mark—not decorative, but something that looked like it carried a deeper meaning.
His expression shifted from surprise to focus.
"…That's not normal."
At the same time, Luffy reacted in his usual blunt way, completely unaware of the tension.
Sonic quickly turned slightly away, trying not to escalate the situation further, but he knew one thing instantly:
they had just seen something they weren't supposed to see.
