Chapter 76 - Chapter 76: Target God Valley! The Pirate Crews Mobilize!

At a secret stronghold of the CP, the World Government's direct intelligence agency.

A figure in a black trench coat and a top hat swaggered into the main hall of the base.

"I want to see your person in charge."

He said to the agent at the front desk.

The agent looked up, saw the visitor, and his pupils slightly contracted:

"Morgans... what are you doing here?"

The visitor was none other than Morgans, the president of the World Economic Journal.

Though young, he was already a notorious information broker and media mogul in the underworld.

"Don't play dumb, you people must have heard the rumors."

Morgans grinned: "Then pay up for my silence.

Ah, I'm talking about that deal—'It'd be better if I kept my mouth shut.'"

The agent sneered disdainfully:

"You're just a local rag with a name that sounds like child's play. How could you possibly have such powerful intelligence-gathering capabilities? Do you want to be erased by the World Government?"

Morgans was provoked: "Then come and try."

He thought to himself: No matter what, I have to leak this information to Hachinosu Island. World Government, you'll regret this.

...

Hachinosu Island.

When the intelligence officer Stussy read out the intelligence report at the officer meeting, the entire conference hall erupted.

"Shakky? She's still alive!"

"Is this true? That's great! Where is she now?"

"God Valley? What kind of place is that?"

"She's being used as a prize for the Celestial Dragon Games?"

Upon hearing this, Wang Zhi's expression turned panicked, and fine beads of cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

A year ago, it was he who secretly colluded with the World Government, betraying Shakky's whereabouts, which led to her capture by the CP organization.

Officer Marlon was also silenced during that incident.

He forced himself to remain calm, attempting to sow doubt among the others:

"It sounds suspicious. Is the information reliable? What if it's a trap set by the World Government?"

Intelligence Officer Stussy nodded:

"There is indeed some chaos within the Marines, that much is certain.

Our informant within the Marines confirmed that there have been large-scale military movements in the West Blue recently, targeting God Valley."

Silver Axe slammed the table:

"Shakky is a prize for the Celestial Dragon Games? Those bastards!"

Gan Quan stood up, eyes burning with anger:

"So it was those World Government scum who kidnapped Shakky.

Looks like they're itching for another beating. Do we need to charge into Mary Geoise again?"

"Sha—kky—!!"

Shiki shouted excitedly, already impatient to go rescue her.

Raiver sat to the side, watching everyone's infatuated reactions towards Shakky, feeling utterly speechless.

Is it really that serious? What a repressed era.

Whitebeard stroked his chin, deep in thought:

"Celestial Dragon slave hunts... I thought they were just baseless rumors. I never imagined they actually existed."

Charlotte Linlin licked her lips excitedly:

"The intelligence says the winner of the hunting event can get a Devil Fruit as a prize. Kaido, you want one, right?"

Kaido, who had just been promoted to Officer, immediately became interested:

"What abilities do these have?"

Meanwhile, Charlotte Linlin thought to himself: These would be good for my children too. Katakuri needs a powerful Devil Fruit.

Long Bread worriedly said:

"Could this be a trap? The World Government deliberately leaked information to lure us to God Valley and set up an ambush?"

"Silence!"

A deep, authoritative voice rang out.

Rocks walked in.

"Cowards can stay on this island. Set sail for God Valley!!"

"Yes! Captain Rocks!!"

"Charge!"

"For Shakky!"

"For treasure!"

"For slaughtering Celestial Dragons!!"

Fanatic shouts echoed through the meeting hall.

The Rocks Pirates, this monstrous pirate crew that had been dormant for a month, had awakened once more.

...

Meanwhile, in another part of the New World, aboard the Oro Jackson.

The Roger Pirates had also received Shakky's intelligence.

Morgans wouldn't just sell information to one party.

As an information broker, he pursued maximum profit.

Thus, the Roger Pirates were also in an uproar.

"Shakky's alive?!"

"God Valley? Celestial Dragon slave hunting?"

"Devil Fruit prizes?!"

Roger excitedly jumped onto the ship's prow, loudly asking:

"Gaban, where the hell is God Valley anyway?"

Gaban immediately spread out the nautical chart, pointing at a location in the West Sea:

"I know the approximate location. Though it's a long journey, we'll proceed at full speed."

Roger shouted:

"Men... we're going, right?"

"Of course we are!!"

The crew responded in unison.

Even the usually calm Rayleigh now had burning determination in his eyes.

This year of bitter waiting had tormented the Roger Pirates.

Roger grinned:

"Even Rocks is making his move? We need to get there first."

He looked at Gaban:

"Full speed ahead! We must reach God Valley before Rocks does!"

"Understood!"

The Oro Jackson adjusted its course and sailed at full speed toward the West Sea.

News of Roger's movement soon reached Garp, who was vacationing on an island.

"What? That bastard Roger is going to God Valley too?"

Garp crunched on rice crackers while listening to his subordinate's report, his brow furrowing.

"Yes, Vice Admiral Garp. According to intelligence, both the Rocks Pirates and Roger Pirates are heading toward God Valley.

The World Government is holding a slave hunting event at God Valley, with Officer Shakky as one of the prizes. This has enraged them."

Garp remained silent for a few seconds, then suddenly stood up:

"Notify Headquarters! I'm going to God Valley!"

"But, Vice Admiral Garp, we haven't received orders—"

"Enough! Both Roger and Rocks will be there! This is a golden opportunity! If we can capture them both in one move, the pirate era will end!"

Battle spirit burned in Garp's eyes.

...

Several days later, the massive fleet of the Rocks Pirates was crossing the Calm Belt, heading toward the West Sea.

Suddenly, an enormous warship appeared in the waters ahead.

Its sails bore the symbol of Elbaf - crossed battle axes and a war horn.

"It's a giant's ship!"

A pirate shouted from the crow's nest.

John narrowed his eyes:

"Why would Elbaf's royal warship... be here?"

Shiki arrogantly drew his twin swords:

"Who cares why, just sink them! Don't block our way!"

But Rocks suddenly stepped forward:

"Wait."

The Officers looked at him in confusion:

"Why? Don't stop, Shakky is still waiting for us to rescue her."

Rocks knew very well that the one who had come was none other than that man—the King of Elbaf, the strongest warrior of the Giant Tribe, Harald.
