Chapter 26 - The Millennium Seal and the Brothers' Farewell

In the throne room, among the collapsed stones and scattered water and ash, Nahid slowly lowered his sword and looked at his brother, Nihad. Nihad, who wielded the power of the Water God, fixed his maddened, glowing eyes on Nahid. Despite his wounds and exhausted strength, he still looked ready to attack.

Dante stood in the corner, tired but alert. He slowly walked toward Nahid and spoke in a cold voice as he watched the clash: "Why don't you finish it, Nahid? He's not your brother anymore. That divine power has completely taken his mind."

Nahid turned to Dante with a painful expression. His voice trembled as he gripped the Sword of the Flame God tightly: "No… He is my brother. I can't kill him. No matter what he's done, killing him isn't the solution."

Dante stayed silent for a moment, then placed a hand on Nahid's shoulder and let out a heavy breath: "Then what about sealing him? Instead of killing him, we can stop his power. We could use a sealing spell to put him into a thousand-year sleep. Maybe then, this madness will end."

Nahid looked at his brother and let out a deep sigh. Dante's words were logical, but the weight of the decision was tearing Nahid apart. After a long silence, he slowly nodded in acceptance. "Alright. But I swear I will bring him back one day. He is my brother, Dante."Nahid knew he had to gather his last strength before Nihad attacked again. He gripped his sword tightly, and his flaming arm ignited once more. "Nihad! This battle ends here!" he shouted and lunged toward his brother with his flaming blade.

Nihad responded by swinging his water sword. The two blades clashed again, filling the room once more with the fury of fire and water. Nahid tried to gain the upper hand with every strike, but Nihad's attacks were still deadly. The water blade grazed Nahid's armor, opening a deep cut on his shoulder.

Ignoring the pain, Nahid swung his sword again. This time, he forced Nihad's blade downward and pushed his brother back. However, Nihad summoned the power of the Water God and created a massive water dragon, unleashing it toward Nahid.

Nahid raised the Sword of the Flame God and gathered all his strength, unleashing a massive wave of fire. Flames and water clashed once again inside the throne room. Meanwhile, Dante was preparing the sealing spell. He prayed that Nahid could buy enough time while completing the final stage of the magic.

Nahid stepped toward his brother and swung his blade. Flames surrounded Nihad, but Nahid was restraining him instead of killing him. "Forgive me, brother," Nahid whispered as tears rolled down his face.At that moment, Dante shouted: "Nahid! Now! Pull him into the seal!"

Nahid locked the Sword of the Flame God with Nihad's water blade and forced his brother downward. Dante's magic activated. A glowing ring of light formed around Nihad. Nihad screamed helplessly: "You can't do this to me! I am a divine being!"

Nahid looked at his brother and spoke softly: "This is not the end. I will bring you back one day. I will save you from this darkness."

When the sealing spell completed, Nihad's body vanished into the light. The power of the Water God was completely suppressed, and Nihad was condemned to a thousand-year sleep, like a hellish slumber. The room fell into silence.Nahid collapsed to his knees, planting his sword into the ground. Dante walked toward him, bloodied and exhausted, and spoke with difficulty: "We did it. But are you sure? Do you really believe he'll come back?"

Nahid lifted his head and looked at the place where his brother had been sealed. "One day. Maybe a thousand years from now. But he is my brother. I will bring him back."

Dante gave a faint smile and offered his shoulder. "Let's get out of here for now, hero. This realm is no longer for us."

Nahid accepted Dante's help and stood up. Both were exhausted and wounded, but the weight of what they had accomplished pressed heavily on them. Silently, they walked out of the throne room and headed outside the palace.

Nahid looked back one last time at the place where his brother was sealed.

And so, Nahid and Dante left the shattered realm behind and set off on an unknown journey.
