Solarynth continued rampaging through the battlefield with overwhelming speed and perception, tearing through Pandemonium Legion soldiers everywhere he crossed while blue mix with yellow lightning crackled violently around his body each time he accelerated across the war-torn field.
He moved constantly through the chaos, intercepting enemies before they could kill or overwhelm the kingdom forces, appearing beside allied soldiers almost instantly whenever the battlefield began turning against them.
"Behind you!"
"Move!"
"Watch the left side!"
Sounds of war echoed endlessly around him while steel clashed against steel and bodies collapsed beneath the burning skies overhead, the battlefield becoming more chaotic with every passing minute.
Nearby, one Thespian soldier was locked in combat against a Pandemonium troop far stronger than himself.
The Thespian gritted his teeth before thrusting his spear forward with both hands.
The Pandemonium soldier reacted immediately he pivoted cleanly around the attack before slamming his shield directly into the Thespian's head with brutal force.
"Augh—! "
Impact nearly knocked the Thespian unconscious, his helmet rattling violently while his vision blurred from the hit, stumbling backward across the battlefield as blood dripped slowly from the corner of his mouth.
Pandemonium soldier stepped forward calmly after seeing the opening.
"It's over for you…" he muttered coldly while raising his weapon overhead for the finishing strike.
Then a burst of blue and yellow lightning exploded across the battlefield.
The enemy soldier's eyes widened slightly, Solarynth had already crossed the distance.
He appeared directly in front of the Pandemonium troop so fast the man's brain hadn't fully processed what had happened yet, wind and electricity spiraling violently around Solarynth's body while his glowing Kurie eyes locked onto the target with terrifying calmness.
The enemy barely reacted.
Then Solarynth drove a full-force punch directly into the soldier's liver section by impact folded the man's body inward instantly.
"Ghhk—!"
A violent groan escaped from the enemy's mouth while the force of the strike lifted him partially off the ground, compressed air erupting outward from the impact point as cracks spread across the armor protecting his side.
Pandemonium soldier staggered backward desperately trying to breathe, his weapon slipping from his hand while Solarynth stood motionless in front of him, blue mix with yellow like lightning still crackling softly around his fists beneath the chaos of war continuing all around them.
Solarynth looked back toward the injured Thespian soldier while the sounds of war continued roaring across the battlefield behind them, steel clashing against steel as flames and magic erupted endlessly throughout the open plains outside the kingdom walls, his celestial Kurie eyes slowly dimming for a brief moment as he crouched beside the fallen warrior and carefully removed the damaged helmet from his head.
"Are you okay?" Solarynth asked with visible concern in his voice while setting the helmet down beside him, cold wind brushing through his white hair as he examined the injury more closely and noticed a dark bruise already beginning to form along the side of the Thespian's head beneath streaks of dirt and blood.
The soldier tried to answer, but the moment he moved slightly, pain shot through his body hard enough to make him grit his teeth and lower his head again.
Clearly… he was not okay.
Then heavy footsteps came rushing across the battlefield.
One of the other Thespian warriors quickly arrived at the scene, breathing heavily beneath his armor before immediately noticing his injured comrade sitting weakly against the broken ground while Solarynth remained crouched beside him.
"What happened?" the warrior asked urgently, tightening his grip around his spear while his eyes shifted between the wound and the surrounding battlefield.
"Your friend needs medical care," Solarynth responded calmly while sliding one arm carefully beneath the injured warrior's back. "I'll bring him to the camp station and get him treated up."
Thespian warrior nodded immediately without hesitation, trusting Solarynth the moment he saw the seriousness in his expression.
"Please… get him there fast."
Solarynth tightened his hold around the injured soldier before slowly standing back to his feet, lightning beginning to crackle faintly around his legs once again while the battlefield winds spiraled outward from the pressure building around his body.
Then—electricity burst violently beneath his feet.
Ground shattered apart as Solarynth accelerated forward at extreme speed while carrying the injured warrior securely within his arms, streaking across the battlefield like a bolt of celestial lightning as Pandemonium soldiers barely managed to register the flash passing through the warzone.
Within seconds, Solarynth crossed through the open side entrance of the kingdom walls, the damaged gates still burning from earlier attacks while wounded soldiers, healers, and rushing civilians filled the inner streets of the capital behind him.
And without slowing down once—He continued moving directly toward the medical camp station.
Solarynth returned to his normal state as the celestial rings within his Kurie eyes slowly faded away, the lightning surrounding his body disappearing while his breathing steadied again after moving across the battlefield at extreme speed.
Moment he entered the medical camp stationed near the inner side of the kingdom walls, the atmosphere around him shifted completely from war into controlled chaos.
Rows of injured soldiers filled the area.
Some laid across medical beds while medic mages moved quickly between them, glowing healing spells illuminating the tents in flashes of green and gold light as wounded Spartans groaned through broken ribs and deep cuts.
Others were being stitched manually where magic alone could not fully repair the damage.
The smell of blood, medicine, smoke, and burnt steel lingered heavily through the air while exhausted healers continued working without rest.
A few soldiers who had already recovered enough were standing back up again despite their injuries, grabbing shields and weapons before preparing to return to the battlefield outside the walls.
Solarynth carefully carried the injured Thespian soldier through the crowded station before lowering him gently onto an empty medical bed near the far side of the camp, making sure not to worsen the injury around the side of his head.
Then he noticed someone familiar nearby.
Grace.
She was moving quickly between wounded soldiers with rolled-up sleeves, helping stabilize injuries while assisting the medic mages however she could, strands of hair sticking slightly against her face from exhaustion and sweat as the sounds of wounded warriors echoed all around her.
The moment Grace noticed Solarynth standing there beside the injured Thespian, her eyes widened immediately before she hurried through the crowded camp toward him, carefully weaving past healers and supplies scattered across the floor.
"Oh my God… what happened?" Grace asked quickly, stopping beside the medical bed while looking over the injured soldier with concern written clearly across her expression.
Solarynth stepped slightly aside to give her room.
"He got hit in the head with a shield," he explained calmly, glancing down toward the bruising forming near the side of the Thespian's temple while the soldier struggled weakly to stay conscious. "He was still fighting even after the hit."
Grace frowned slightly before placing both hands carefully near the injury, soft healing magic beginning to glow around her fingers as she started examining the damage.
"You brought him here fast enough," she said quietly while focusing on the wound. "That probably saved him from collapsing completely."
Around them, the medical camp continued moving without pause while distant explosions and the sounds of war still echoed faintly from beyond the kingdom walls, reminding everyone inside that the battle outside had never stopped for even a second.
Solarynth stood beside the medical bed quietly, his eyes fixed on the injured Thespian soldier while Grace continued treating the wound carefully with healing magic flowing softly through her hands.
Then—Faint screaming echoed from somewhere far beyond the camp.
Solarynth's expression shifted immediately.
The sounds were distant, but loud enough to cut through the noise of the medical station, mixed with panic, crashing debris, and the unmistakable roar of fire spreading somewhere deeper within the capital.
Without wasting another second, Solarynth turned and stepped outside the medical camp to look the area directly around the station remained stable for now.
No fighting nearby. No soldiers breaking through the perimeter.
But farther ahead through the midnight darkness, large clouds of smoke were rising into the sky while orange flames illuminated sections of the capital from the distance, the loud commotion growing heavier the longer he listened.
The kingdom was still under attack.
Solarynth narrowed his eyes slightly before turning back and walking into the medical camp again, immediately looking toward Grace while she continued applying medicine carefully against the bruised side of the Thespian soldier's head.
"Did they breach the capital already?" Solarynth asked seriously, his voice lower now while distant explosions rumbled faintly outside the walls.
Grace didn't stop working.
"Yes," she answered quietly while pressing the bandages into place. "They breached the walls hours ago after the clash outside started."
Solarynth looked back toward the entrance of the camp again, the flickering glow of flames reflecting faintly across his eyes before he looked back at her.
"I gotta go," he said firmly, already beginning to turn away. "I need to fight them—"
Before he could move any farther, Grace suddenly grabbed onto his wrist tightly enough to stop him completely.
Solarynth paused.
"No," Grace said immediately, finally looking directly at him now, exhaustion visible across her face while wounded soldiers continued groaning around them. "You're not going out there just to fight."
She hesitated for a brief second before continuing more softly.
"You're going to help people… and bring them back here for treatment."
Her grip tightened slightly around his wrist.
"Be… their hero."
For a moment, Solarynth simply looked at her in silence while the sounds of war echoed faintly from outside the camp, the flames of the burning capital continuing to rise higher into the midnight sky beyond the entrance.
Then slowly—He nodded.
Grace finally let go of his wrist.
Solarynth turned and walked outside once more before stopping near the edge of the camp, the cold night wind brushing against his trench coat while smoke drifted across the distant streets ahead of him.
He closed both eyes.
Then lightning began crackling violently from deep within his body, sparks surging outward across his skin as magical spite gathered rapidly into his core before flowing directly down through both of his legs and body.
Ground beneath his feet trembled faintly his breathing steadied then Solarynth reopened his eyes celestial rings of Kurie spiraled back to life instantly.
Before Solarynth could accelerate toward the destruction happening deeper within the capital, something suddenly crossed his mind, the way he once traveled through space itself, the feeling of moving beyond sound, beyond atmosphere, beyond the limits of what a human body should ever withstand.
The memory lingered inside his mind while cold wind drifted across the burning kingdom streets, flames reflecting faintly across his face as wounded soldiers continued being carried through the medical camp behind him.
Then Solarynth slowly lowered his stance.
One foot moved backward across the ground while blue and yellow lightning crackling around his body suddenly began changing colors, the energy shifting violently from bright electric blue mix yellow into something far stranger, nebula-colored lightning swirling around his body like fragments of a galaxy collapsing inward on itself.
The atmosphere changed immediately pressure around him became heavier.
Even the air itself started trembling unnaturally as magical spite surged violently through every part of his body, so overwhelming that the ground beneath his feet slowly began cracking apart from the sheer force leaking out from him alone.
Solarynth's breathing steadied.
Then the limit inside his body finally broke.
Not physically but something deeper than that.
The point where his existence no longer felt human anymore.
Nebula-colored lightning erupted violently around him while celestial rings spiraled rapidly inside his Kurie eyes, the surrounding wind exploding outward across the battlefield hard enough to blow debris and dust through the streets behind him.
Before this—Solarynth could only move at around five thousand miles per hour.
Fast enough to disappear from sight and fast enough to overwhelm soldiers instantly.
But now, after pushing beyond his breaking point and forcing his body into a completely different state of acceleration, his speed evolved into something monstrous.
One trillion times the speed of light.
The kingdom streets trembled violently beneath him while lightning tore across the ground in massive streaks of nebula-colored energy, buildings shaking from the pressure before Solarynth suddenly vanished.
"I'll save everyone."
Just a truth he placed inside himself, quiet and absolute, the way a man plants something into the ground before a long winter and simply trusts it will still be there when the storm ends.
The nebula-colored lightning surged.
And then he was gone.
Vanished completely.
The shockwave alone exploded outward afterward, ripping across the medical camp like a storm while the space where Solarynth once stood collapsed inward for a split second beneath the overwhelming force of his acceleration.
