Chapter 361 - MCA Chapter 360: This Time, I Will Protect Everyone

War is about exhausting everything to achieve victory; even sacrificing important figures on one's own side is worth it!

The people of Sunagakure are currently the most supportive of killing the Jinchuriki to delay the Eye of the Moon Plan, because they no longer have any Tailed Beasts.

They would love for the Tailed Beasts of other Villages to die out completely, as this would balance the strength of various nations.

However, the younger generation disagreed. For instance, the Fourth Raikage stood up with a fiery temper and confronted Danzo, saying, "Then who should be sacrificed?"

"In any case, I will not sacrifice Yugito or Bee. Since it was you Konoha who proposed this, then let your Konoha be the ones to make this sacrifice!"

Minato stepped forward, shielding Kushina.

Killer Bee spoke up for Kushina at that moment: "Big brother, you idiot, you jerk~ You can't sacrifice Kushina, she's pregnant right now~"

Yugito also nodded: "Right. If your war is for the nobles behind you, then my reason for fighting is to protect the future of the Shinobi World."

"If we can't even protect a pregnant woman and a child, then we might as well let this world become a world of Genjutsu."

Kushina looked at Yugito and Killer Bee with great emotion; this was the feeling of family.

Only those who have experienced your pain will truly empathize with you.

A masked man from Iwagakure who had been silent all along stepped forward: "If someone must be sacrificed, then let it be me!"

"Han?!"

Everyone from Iwagakure looked at Han, and everyone in the meeting room stared in surprise at the Five-Tails Jinchuriki—Han.

Han was a man of few words; since becoming a Jinchuriki, he had never taken the initiative to speak, giving off an impression of being cold and aloof.

But he was extremely friendly toward his comrades and honest at heart—the type who was cold on the outside but warm on the inside.

Ōnoki shook his head: "No, the Five-Tails is the Village's property. How can it be sacrificed?"

Ōnoki did not have the same level of trust in Roshi and Han that the Fourth Raikage had in Killer Bee and Yugito.

Particularly Roshi, who often clashed with Ōnoki in the Village. In the original work, Roshi also left the Village to become a monk because he couldn't stand Ōnoki's way of doing things.

Because of that, he was caught off guard by the people of the Akatsuki.

There were conflicts between Ōnoki and Roshi, but these were merely personality clashes.

As a Kage, how could he allow his own Village's comrades to be sacrificed to obtain victory?

The Will of Stone emphasizes a heart as steadfast as a rock, protecting one's comrades with heavy resolve.

Ōnoki looked at Danzo: "Danzo, since your Konoha proposed this, it's up to you to decide which Jinchuriki to sacrifice."

Danzo was certainly unwilling to sacrifice Kushina. It wasn't out of kindness, but because the Nine-Tails was Konoha's treasure. How could it be sacrificed so casually?

They only knew that Tailed Beasts wouldn't stay dead, but they weren't very clear on how they were resurrected.

The next time the Nine-Tails resurrected, it wouldn't be so easy for Konoha to seal it again.

Danzo was more inclined to sacrifice Killer Bee or Yugito.

Killer Bee was a perfect Jinchuriki, and Yugito was very close to perfect as well.

If Killer Bee and Yugito died, it would both reduce the combat power of Kumogakure—the second strongest in the Shinobi World—and delay Madara's Eye of the Moon Plan. It was killing two birds with one stone!

However, he was not a high-ranking official of the Shinobi Allied Forces, and people from other hidden Villages would not trust him.

The Third Hokage spoke up: "Danzo, do not say things that are detrimental to unity. The Jinchuriki are important partners of every Village."

"The Shinobi Allied Forces was formed this time specifically to protect them and oppose Uchiha Madara."

Danzo backed down. He had only brought it up to prepare everyone mentally.

When it truly comes down to losing everything, people are capable of anything!

Even if they were unwilling, the Daimyo and nobles behind them would force them to kill the Jinchuriki.

Mifune then said: "Everyone, since Uchiha Madara's goal is the Tailed Beasts, we must decide on a place to protect the Jinchuriki."

Jiraiya said: "I suggest Mount Myoboku. Mount Myoboku is another dimension with a massive labyrinth on the outside. It will be very difficult for Uchiha Madara's White Zetsu to find it."

Everyone nodded.

The Fourth Raikage had originally wanted to arrange it on Turtle Island, but as soon as Mount Myoboku was mentioned, it far outclassed Turtle Island.

This was a Holy Land.

There was also the legendary Great Toad Sage who could predict the future, numerous top-tier Summoned Beasts, and defensive measures that would blow Turtle Island out of the water.

Now that the location for protecting the Jinchuriki had been chosen, how many Jinchuriki were willing to go?

They couldn't all go!

Every Jinchuriki was at least a Kage-level Shinobi. Numbers were useless against Madara; they needed elites who surpassed Elite Jonin.

Jinchuriki, with the massive amounts of chakra provided by their Tailed Beasts, were the best weapons against Madara.

Killer Bee rapped his refusal to be protected: "I am a perfect Jinchuriki, I'm going to fight, I won't go to Mount Myoboku, konoyaro~"

Yugito was the same, refusing to be protected.

As for the remaining Villages, Sunagakure had no Tailed Beasts and seemed almost invisible at the Five Kage Summit.

Every time someone mentioned Tailed Beasts, the hearts of the Sunagakure people would ache, because their Tailed Beast had been stolen by Ryou.

Although Iwagakure's Roshi and Han were not perfect Jinchuriki, they could still undergo Tailed Beast Transformation. They didn't want to stay in the rear and be protected; they also wanted to participate in the war.

Yagura was the same. He was a candidate for Mizukage, and since the Mizukage hadn't come, he was the representative figure of the Land of Water.

He couldn't just be protected.

Kushina lowered her head, feeling somewhat ashamed. The Jinchuriki were all brave people, but Kushina couldn't do it.

She was pregnant and had to go to Mount Myoboku to be protected.

Minato gripped Kushina's hand, comforting her slightly wounded soul.

Mifune did not agree to so many Jinchuriki participating in the battle. He suggested: "At the very least, two Jinchuriki should stay behind!"

"The Nine-Tails is one, and the other one..."

Mifune looked around and set his gaze on Yugito.

This wasn't discrimination against women, but a matter of perspective. In long-standing traditional views, males had always occupied the dominant position in terms of physical force.

Yugito was somewhat indignant, but just as she was about to retort to Mifune, she was stopped by the Fourth Raikage: "Yugito, you stay."

"Lord Raikage..."

"This is an order. Furthermore, I want you to teach Kushina how to control the power of the Tailed Beast. The Nine-Tails is the strongest Tailed Beast. If we are all defeated, we will need the Nine-Tails' power then."

Yugito nodded.

The Fourth Raikage said to the Third Hokage: "Now that everyone is united, Kumogakure cannot hold anything back either. We will share our experience in controlling Tailed Beasts."

"I hope you in Konoha can develop the full power of the Nine-Tails."

The Third Hokage looked at Kushina. Kushina was pregnant; developing the Tailed Beast's power while carrying a child would be very dangerous.

Kushina stopped pretending to be weak at this point. She said to the Third Hokage: "Old man Third, I am a member of the Uzumaki Clan. My life force is much stronger than others."

"If it's just about obtaining the Tailed Beast's power, I can endure it!"

Minato squeezed Kushina's hand tightly. How he wished the world where Madara existed was fake, so that Kushina wouldn't have to step forward and bear all this.

But unfortunately, one must face reality.

"Alright, Yugito and Kushina will go to Mount Myoboku to be protected! The other Jinchuriki will participate in the battle against Uchiha Madara."

The Third Hokage had one more sentence he didn't say: if things truly reached a desperate state, he hoped the Jinchuriki would have the courage to commit suicide and return to the heavens.

He was willing to accept defeat gracefully, but the financial backers behind them could never accept a world of Genjutsu. For the sake of victory, they would do anything.
