The next morning, I woke up without hearing Tizmilly's surprised yells. When I stepped out of my room and looked out the window, I saw her swinging her sword. The rising sun was the only light illuminating her swift figure.
She swung her sword as if she were dancing. I could see her sweat sparkling under the light like mini stars, perfecting the picture of her.
'That's rare. She was able to wake up by herself today...'
While idly thinking about that, I went to the kitchen. There, my mother was preparing our breakfast as usual.
She turned to me while stirring the pot. "Theo, could you place the plates on the table? I can't leave this now."
"Okay," I nodded while scratching my head. I took the plates from the cupboard and placed them on the table. After that, I went to the sink to wash my face and brush my teeth.
By the time I completed my morning routine, Tizmilly was back from outside.
"Good morning, Mister Roost," she greeted me with a smile when our eyes met.
