She turned towards me. "How do you know my daughter to begin with, my name has never crossed the width of this forest."
I stuttered for a second thinking of what to say or lie about.
"Uhh uhm.. we were close friends before."
"Close friends? Lira never had any friends. Talk more if it's you."
"Maybe she didn't want you to know about it. But we were really close and ever since! She always popped up in my mind."
"Hmmm." She had a suspicion that I was lying but still played along. "Alright then I believe you."
My breath hitched.
"You came with your other friends! Are they also here with you to see Lira?"
"Yes they are." I nervously smiled.
"Ok." She answered and laid on a bed made out of sapphire crystal and flowers.
"It's late already, I want to ask for your permission for me and my crew to lay for the night here after a long journey and we will continue tomorrow." I requested.
"Sure, you can." Her voice was soft and alluring.
