All of the different groups split up to deal with the different enemies that they had been asked to deal with, Vali performing balance breaker and taking out of the swarms of enemies littering the sky, none of their attacks even hitting his after images, Azazel facing Katerea slightly further away, not having been made to resort to using his hand made sacred gear yet due to her not having used the power of Orphis's snake and the Gremory group plus the church group with Blaze included all took care of the ground troups
"Why do all villians always think that more numbers mean that they will be able to take people out" sighed Blaze as she took out one person after the other
"I don't know but getting to try out my new abilities to deal with them is fun" Akeno smiled as she rained down lightning and conjured birds of fire to deal with those who tried to defend themselves from above by striking them from the sides "I could use these new powers with some candles to have so much fun" she grinned sadistically
"This is the first real battle I've had since making a contact with Rias and Blaze and I have to say I can really feel the power increase" Xenovia shouted as she cut down one enemy after another
"I will use this chance to sharpen my sword skills against enemies who are after my life" Kiba stated "my master said that one can truely grow the most in the midst of battle when one's life is on the line" sharpening his senses to the point that he was using the least movements to take down his foes
"Lots of enemies but not that strong" Koneko muttered as she struck another person in the stomach taking them out in a single blow
"It is a good oppurtunity for me to try fighting enemies with my newly unlocked Gremory abilities rather than relying on my power of destruction" Rias stated as she covered herself in a silver glow before shooting out magical energy blasts shaped like cresent moons that sliced through the enemies that tried to defend themselves
"Truely my master is much stronger than last time I saw you, it is my honor to serve such a woman as you" Caspera pronounced as she stopped some of the magical blasts that would have hit the members of the group with her time stopping abilities
Vali seeing the power of the Gremory groups abilities smiled, his hunger for battle increasing due to his current enemies not being able to satisfy him
"AZAZEL IF I'M GOING DOWN I'M TAKING YOU WITH ME!" screamed Kateara after having been injured by Azazel after he had used his sacred gear in order to combat her using Orphis's snake, her arms elongating and attaching themselves to Azazel's armor
"As much as I like going down with a woman unfortunately you're not my type" Azazel chuckled, flying backwards until Kateara's arms where taught before disengaging the armor on his arm causing her arms to no longer be attached to him and then throwing his spear which penetrated straight through Kateara's head and killing her instantly
"Well that's the main threat dealt with so Vali should be betraying Azazel in 3... 2.... 1..." counted Blaze
BANG
A magical blast hit Azazel right in the back the moment that he disengaged his armor, hitting him when his defenses were down
"Argh, what the fuck Vali, what was that for" Azazel complained as he hit the ground hard
"That was for telling Lavina where I was every time you knew I was trying to hide from her" Vali sneered "also take it as me showing you that I'm joining their side"
"Why would you do that?" Azazel groaned as he got up in pain
"The simple reason of the people on your side look more fun to fight against and it means that I can fight whoever I want without having to here you whine about who I'm not allowed to fight" Vali replied
"I let you go find your destined rival, why don't you go fight them" Azazel complained
"I have my reasons for not fighting them, also I have found another opponent that has intrigued me" Vali declared as she gaze turned to look at Blaze
"Why the hell do you want to fight me?" Blaze retorted "I don't give a crap about fighting, I just end up getting pulled into them"
"Because you and I are more alike than you know" Vali sneered
"Holy crap is he a futa as well" Herm chuckled knowing it wasn't true
"How so?" Blaze asked nervously, afraid of what the answer was going to be
"Because both of us can use powers that are opposite to each other" Vali grinned, his smile becoming even more vicious
"I don't like where this is going" Blaze moaned
"Azazel, you have those rings that can make people be able to access their balance breaker don't you, give one to her" Vali ordered
"I think she could put up a good fight against you even without that" Azazel stated
"Against me like this you might be right" Vali agreed "but what about now, boosted gear"
"BOOST" rings out as a red gauntlet appears on Vali's left hand
".....Fuck" Blaze groaned as Vali's words finally made sense as she mentally prepared herself for a fight with Lucifer's descendant who had the powers of both heavenly dragons powers at his disposal.
