"Why are you staring?"
Alicia's soft, sleepy voice pulled me back.
I watched as her brown eyes slowly fluttered open. She blinked several times, adjusting to the morning light.
"Good morning," I greeted softly.
She smiled.
"Morning."
I gently tucked a loose curl behind her ear before she asked,
"Why are you still here? Won't you be late for work?"
I noticed her lips were still slightly swollen and gently brushed my thumb across them.
"How can I leave with you looking like this?"
Then I leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on her lips.
"I feel like starting all over again."
Her eyes widened as she instinctively moved back a little, exposing more of her shoulder.
"Don't you ever get tired?"
I smiled.
"Of you?"
"Never."
She narrowed her eyes, letting out a sleepy yawn that made it obvious she was still exhausted.
I leaned down and kissed her slender shoulder.
"Thank you."
This time, my voice became completely serious.
She looked at me in confusion.
"For what?"
