I blinked at the soda and note. Then blinked again—because clearly my brain had decided to glitch mid-school day. Slowly, I picked up the note and unfolded it gently like it was a bomb that could explode at any minute.

My face heated so fast I was pretty sure steam could start coming out of my ears any second. Luckily Blue was by my side incase I actually exploded, he could stop it somehow. In my eyes Blue could do anything. 


"Blue…" I said, already turning to him, holding up the evidence like a detective who'd just cracked the case. "Did you do this?"


He leaned over my shoulder, looking at the note with genuine curiosity. "Nope. Not me." But I noticed his jaws clench and I couldn't tell if he was angry or trying to make himself not seem guilty. 


I narrowed my eyes at him. "You're a terrible liar."
