Seeing no greed on Nina Jacobs's face, the man was actually the one who looked confused.
He thought she would kill him for his treasure.
After all, he was incredibly weak right now.
"I'll give it to you, and you save my life. How about it?"
the man said.
"You're afraid I'll kill you, right?
But I accept your terms."
Nina Jacobs bent down and picked up the gray cloth.
The cloth looked completely unremarkable. She tried unfolding it as the man had described and covered him with it.
A moment later, the man's figure truly vanished from sight.
But if she reached out, she could still feel a person in that spot.
"Does this thing have a time limit?"
Nina Jacobs asked.
"It does. It's called Cloud Concealing Silk. Its effect lasts for… forty-five minutes."
'Forty-five minutes. It seemed a bit useless to her, but she could still keep it and use it if an opportunity arose in the future.'
Nina Jacobs kept her word, and the man soon received aid.
