She wouldn't believe a single word of Wyatt Jacobs's nonsense anymore.
But Wyatt Jacobs misunderstood her.
"I know this whole rebirth thing is hard for anyone to believe,"
"but everything I'm saying is true. In my past life, I really was a Gold Element Superpower User, and I was stronger than anyone else!"
Wyatt Jacobs even struck a few standard poses used by Gold Element Superpower Users.
"I think you've really gone crazy,"
Nina Jacobs said.
"I'm not crazy!
I'm not crazy! I'm really not crazy!"
Wyatt Jacobs retorted loudly, until someone knocked on the door.
"Is everything alright?"
The door opened, and a guard poked his head in to ask.
"Everything's fine. We're just catching up,"
"he's just getting a little emotional."
Nina Jacobs said calmly.
"Good. Please call us immediately if there's a problem."
The door was closed again. Nina Jacobs sighed. "Let's not talk about that anymore. Why did you want to see me today?"
