A black van had crashed head-on into a stone wall by the road, its front completely wrecked.
A horde of zombies followed behind the van.
The Alloyed Zombie among them continued to attack the van with gold spikes.
There were at least four or five other Mutated Zombies in the horde.
The vehicles parked around the small shop had all fled at the first opportunity.
Now, only three men and two women who had just finished their shopping remained.
"Let's get out of here before those zombies spot us,"
Clara Hawthorne whispered from inside the metal shack.
"No, our car is parked across the street.
We might not be faster than those zombies if we make a run for it."
Her male companion disagreed.
They had come out specifically to kill zombies.
But there were too many Mutated Zombies in that horde; the five of them were definitely no match for them.
"Then what do we do? We'll be discovered here sooner or later."
