Chapter 79 - You Offended the Abbot and Still Want to Leave?

"Where did this mad dog come from!"

Falling from the third floor, Zen Toono's mother regained her footing, but she couldn't help but spit out a large mouthful of fresh blood.

The dark-red blood slowly evaporated and disappeared after scattering on the ground.

Five deep claw marks were left across her entire left face, the flesh turned outward and the facial bones broken into several sections; she looked utterly wretched.

Zen Toono's mother hadn't expected Gabriel to have a dog protecting her.

Even more, she hadn't expected this dog to be so ridiculously strong that she couldn't even withstand a single move.

The human acts tough because of the dog's power!

"You offended... Big Sister... and you still want to leave...!"

The sound of wind whistled from above as a raspy, low voice drifted down.

The face of Zen Toono's mother changed drastically. The several legs beneath her exerted force simultaneously as she tried to leap to the side.

However, a large hand grabbed one of her arms and pulled with a sudden burst of strength.

Puchi!

Her entire right arm was torn off raw, and dark-red blood sprayed out like a fountain.

The Large Dog landed steadily, a pale arm now held in his right front claw.

With just a single glance, he tossed it away with a look of disgust. Then, he grinned at Zen Toono's mother, his long tongue licking his lips.

This woman was worth Five Game Skins!

Gabriel hadn't restricted the price or the specific game.

This was a golden opportunity to fleece the Big Sister, so he had to provide excellent service!

The Large Dog's ears twitched happily with inner joy as he stepped forward to close in.

"Ugh, ahhh... don't come any closer!"

The pain of her soul being torn apart struck, and Zen Toono's mother let out a shrill scream.

Seeing the Large Dog move again, she hurriedly manipulated the eight human legs on her lower body, crawling toward the school building like a madwoman.

At this moment, she understood very clearly that whether in terms of strength or level, she was no match for the dog in front of her. Fighting this dog to the death was no different from seeking death.

Her only path to survival was the school building. If she could just grab that blonde girl, perhaps there was still hope.

Worst case, she would take that woman with her before she died!

As Zen Toono's mother fled for her life, the hatred for Gabriel in her eyes grew heavier, nearly overturning what little sanity she had left.

Zen Toono's mother quickly climbed up the wall. Before she could even ascend half a meter, the Large Dog caught up at high speed and firmly squeezed one of her ankles with one hand.

Then, under the resentful gaze of Zen Toono's mother, he brutally tore off that leg.

—!

Inside the classroom, Miko Yotsuya swallowed hard as she listened to the hair-raising screams outside.

Was the dog in their house actually this powerful...

Also, how did Gabriel bring the dog to school?

Miko Yotsuya couldn't help but look in Gabriel's direction.

However, she didn't see Gabriel, but instead locked eyes with Zen Toono in the aisle.

"Yotsuya-san, if there is something you want to discuss with Tenma-kun, you can chat after class. During class, I hope you can listen attentively and not get distracted."

Zen Toono admonished her meticulously.

He had gained a general understanding of the students in the class from Arai-sensei.

He knew about Gabriel's knowledge and grades; she actually didn't need to learn the basic high school curriculum, so he wouldn't go out of his way to manage her.

But the others weren't qualified to enjoy that special treatment.

However, Miko Yotsuya's behavior caught the attention of the onlookers, and gossip immediately began to stir in their hearts.

Since this was a girls' academy, they began to gossip about exactly what the relationship was between Miko Yotsuya and Gabriel.

Miko Yotsuya couldn't even stop herself from stealing glances at Gabriel during class; even Hana Yurikawa didn't get that kind of treatment!

Hana Yurikawa was still distracted, wondering what to eat for lunch, when she noticed people looking at her with sympathetic gazes, which left her head full of question marks.

"Sorry..."

Miko Yotsuya quickly sat up straight, not daring to be distracted anymore.

But out of the corner of her eye, she saw the Cat Evil Spirits on Zen Toono's body suddenly jump off him. One by one, they pounced on the face of the mutilated female evil spirit outside the window, scratching and biting.

"Zen... Zen... don't leave me..."

Zen Toono's mother only had one arm left. She gripped the windowsill tightly, her eyes fixed on Zen Toono inside the classroom, having no spare mind to deal with the group of Cat Evil Spirits or the Large Dog climbing up from below.

In the next second, a large, blood-stained hand grabbed the head of Zen Toono's mother. Amidst her unwilling and resentful cries, it violently pulled her downward.

With a squelch, fresh blood splashed high.

The voice of Zen Toono, who was lecturing, paused.

He suddenly felt his body become lighter, as if a weight that had been invisibly pressing down on him had vanished.

Zen Toono instinctively glanced out the window, then continued his lecture without a second thought.

A few seconds later.

A goofy, large head poked in from outside the window, looking at Gabriel.

On his head, there were suddenly over a dozen pure white cat souls whose malice had faded away.

The scene looked both terrifying and somewhat heartwarming.

The cats meowed a few times at Gabriel and Zen Toono, then slowly turned into countless spots of light and vanished into the air.

But one black cat rushed out from among them, climbing onto Zen Toono's shoulder in the blink of an eye. It affectionately rubbed against his cheek before finally leaving this world along with the other cat spirits.

These cat spirits had merely been protecting Zen Toono, but because the enemy was too powerful, they had no way to drive Zen Toono's mother away.

After the black cat disappeared, Zen Toono felt a tremor in his heart, and a wave of sadness rose for no reason.

This left him very puzzled.

Gabriel watched this scene calmly and reached out to pat the Large Dog's goofy head.

"The ending seems decent enough, and this experiment was quite successful."

After sending the Large Dog back using a teleportation technique, Gabriel turned her attention to the Train Spirits of this world.

"..."

The pen in Miko Yotsuya's hand paused for a few seconds; she had also seen her family's dog and those cats.

She had thought Zen Toono often tortured and killed cats, which was why he was haunted by so many Cat Evil Spirits, but it turned out she had misunderstood.

It seemed that, perhaps, this new teacher wasn't as bad as she thought.

The bell for the end of class rang. After Gabriel spoke with Miko Yotsuya and Hana Yurikawa, she rushed over to Class 2.

Bang.

Gabriel violently pushed open the back door. Facing dozens of eyes looking over in unison, she spoke calmly, "I'm looking for Yuria Niguredou."

"That woman is here again!"

"Not long after she takes Niguredou-san away and they return to the classroom, Niguredou-san's face turns very pale, and her legs are weak when she walks!"

"Could it be school bullying?"

"It shouldn't be that serious, but it's not much better..."

The students of Class 2 began to discuss in low voices.

Yuria walked out of the classroom with stiff steps. Looking at Gabriel standing at the door, her heartbeat rapidly with unease.

"I hope I don't see any cursed images this time..." Yuria prayed silently in her heart.
