The daggers flew right past his face, shoulders and ears and found the guards behind him.
*THUNK*
The first dagger buried itself in the man's eye socket through the eye and deep into the skull.
The man's body went limp before he even hit the ground.
*THUNK*
The second dagger punched through another guard's temple, cracking the bone causing the blood to spray across the dirt.
The man's head snapped sideways like a puppet with cut strings and his body dropped down to the ground.
*THUNK*
The third dagger hit the last guard in the back of the skull. It went in so deep that only the hilt was visible.
The man's fingers twitched once… Twice... Then nothing.
Less than a second, three daggers and three men.
Posey stared at the bodies, 'Shit… this is the issue with facing Mind Path Awakened.'
Posey charged at Jensen again.
Instead of retreating like before, Jensen flexed his claws and met the sword. A small pain tingled through his claws, but it did not hurt much.
'Looks like my claws can contend with Gamma Grade Weapons.' Jensen thought.
Posey frowned, his attack did not cause as much damage as he expected.
'A Dual Awakened with bloodline and Mind Path,' Posey thought as he slowly backed away. 'What is happening? Did he find out?'
He was no longer sure if he could kill this intruder, so he decided to take another path.
"Who are you and what do you want?" Posey asked.
He did not think someone would attack his camp not with his strength, his caution and the amount of work it would take them.
They had to have a very good reason and what other reason could there be but the Mana Stone Mine hidden behind his tent.
Jensen did not respond, he saw no reason to.
Posey was not exactly expecting an answer, so he made his proposal.
"I do not mind sharing the gains with you."
Jensen frowned, he did not understand what Posey was talking about but if he had to guess, it had to be what was blocking his senses from the scanning in there.
He glanced at the gang leader's tent and then he looked back at Posey.
Seeing his reaction, Posey was more certain. The intruder was after the mine.
"I do not mind giving you a share of the harvest from the mana stone mine," Posey said but he was also buying time for his men to gather.
"I know what you are doing… but I do want the Mana Stone Mine now that I know of it." Jensen smiled. "I just do not want to share."
Posey shouted, "LONG RANGE ATTACK!"
He took a quick look around at his men and his face dropped instantly.
Five of his eleven deputies were most likely dead, and a good number of the men were also gone.
He looked back at Jensen only to see him sprout wings and take off into the sky.
'Shit,' Posey thought. 'This is just getting worse. An aerial type bloodline.'
His face fell even more.
All Jensen had to do was pick them off one after another. And that would be so easy since he had telekinesis and flight.
"Everyone, form up," Posey ordered. "Stay as close together as possible."
The men scrambled to obey. They huddled together, backs pressed against each other, weapons pointed at the sky.
Their faces were pale and some were even shaking.
Above them, Jensen circled like a bird of prey, 'It is surprisingly easy to fly… almost like walking with legs.'
He picked his first target. It was a man near the edge of the group holding a spear with his knuckles white from fear.
Jensen dove down at him.
"Over there," Posey shouted pointing at Jensen's direction… the ranged bandit immediately launched their attack at him.
Jensen immediately stopped his descent and ascended but he threw his dagger towards his target.
His attack was unexpected killing the man instantly.
Although surprised, Posey jumped but instead of targeting Jensen, he grabbed the dagger ripping it from Jensen's telekinesis control before storing it in his spatial ring.
Jensen smiled, 'He has experience fighting against mind path awakened.'
He focused on the spear in the dead man's grasp and before Posey could grab the spear Jensen pulled it towards him.
The spear shot toward him like a bolt of lightning.
Jensen could have slowed it, but he did not.
Instead, he let it come, he let the full force of the pull drive toward his chest… then he grabbed it.
The impact slammed through his palm and his arm jerked back from the weight of it but he did not fight the force.
He used it.
Jensen spun as his body twisted three hundred and sixty degrees in the air with the momentum of the spear.
When he came around, he let go and the spear flew back faster than it came.
It hit the first man in the throat, the tip punched through the front of his neck and exploded out the back, taking his spine with it.
A chunk of white bone flew into the darkness as the man's head snapped forward like a puppet with cut strings.
Blood burst from the wound in a hot fountain, spraying the men beside him but the spear did not stop.
It kept going as it pierced the second man through the chest.
The spear tore through his ribs like they were wet paper. His sternum cracked open with a sound like breaking wood.
The spearhead emerged from his back, slick and red, still carrying chunks of lung tissue.
His mouth opened but no sound came out, only blood bubbling up from his throat.
And the spear kept going.
It hit the third man in the head. The tip entered through his left eye socket. The eye popped like a grape and jelly like fluid ran down his cheek.
The spear pushed through the soft meat of his brain and out the back of his skull, taking a fist-sized piece of bone with it.
Then his knees buckled and he folded to the ground like a sack of meat, left over chucks of lungs from the second guy could be seen through the hole left.
The fourth man managed to escape by erecting a wall of earth between them.
"TRAP THE SPEAR!!!" Posey immediately ordered.
The Earth Elemental Awakened immediately raised the earth around the spear trapping it.
