Ray POV
"I'm not fucking crazy, you bastard!" Clarissa yelled. Her eyes were red, but not because of tears, but extreme rage. She tried to spit on me, but I took a step back before that. "Just you wait, Ray Gatlin! You've betrayed me, you discarded my true love for you! So I will make sure you will never find your true love!"
What a bunch of nonsense she was spouting right now. I had already won, and now I had all the time in my life since Claudia stayed by my side.
Then, I walked towards Miles, who stood in place as he was handcuffed. He looked at me weakly, his face as pale as a ghost. "W-what should I do, brother? I don't want to go to jail. It's… it's all Clarissa's idea! I tried telling her that pushing Lara and Aurora would only spell disaster! But she didn't listen to me!"
"Hmm, then let me tell you something if you want to save yourself, Miles," I said while slowly leaning towards his shoulder and whispered, "Testify against Clarissa. Confess everything that you've done."
