Alright, bear with me for a second because this is important.
So yeah, I haven't been uploading consistently and when I did it was all over the place. There's a reason for that — life stuff outside of writing, nothing crazy, but mostly I've been sitting with this novel trying to figure out how to make it better. And honestly? The more I looked at it the more I realized the problems were bigger than I initially thought.
I'm pausing this novel. Not because it's bad — the story itself I still believe in — but because of the newbie mistakes I made along the way. The writing feels robotic in places, the dialogue isn't where it needs to be, the pacing is off and the power system especially needed a serious rework. If you've been reading you've probably felt some of that even if you couldn't name it. I felt it too. That's why I stopped uploading.
I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to fix it and I kept running into the same wall — correcting everything would basically mean rewriting the whole thing from scratch. So I thought, if I'm doing that anyway, why not just make something new? Something built the right way from the start. So that's what I'm doing.
I want to apologize to everyone who was reading and now has to stop because of mistakes I made. That's on me and I'm sorry. At the same time I genuinely want to thank the people who showed up for this story — the ones who read, commented, added it to their library and threw power stones my way. Eternal_Devourer, trafalgar_d_arka4, AsherDurell, Aurius_Midash, Assura54 and everyone else who supported this — thank you. Seriously. It means more than I can say.
The new novel I'm working on is different from this one but if you've been reading here you'll probably notice some DNA here and there. I'm putting everything I've learned into it and I genuinely want to deliver something you guys deserve to read.
