Alexander Hawthorne woke up after the IV drip was finished.
Seeing both his sons were present but not Aria Sterling, he couldn't help but ask, "Where is Aria?"
The patriarch's expression was grim, and his tone was unpleasant.
This gave Landon Hawthorne a bad feeling.
It was Clay Hawthorne who answered, "A friend of Aria's is in Valerium. She went to see her."
"Landon, call her. Tell her to come over when she's finished. I have something to discuss with her."
After the patriarch spoke, he noticed Landon hadn't moved and added, "Also, find a villa or an estate to purchase as soon as possible. It needs to be fully furnished. If it's a resale, investigate whether it has a history of any dark rumors."
Landon grew more confused as he listened and couldn't help but ask, "Dad, was your coma related to Aria?"
"How could it not be?"
Alexander Hawthorne said, then added bitterly, "If it weren't for her, I'd have never known that someone is trying to destroy the Hawthorne family!"
