Jasper Grant had no idea why Landon Hawthorne had tossed him his phone. He was so frightened his legs felt weak enough to give out. Landon's face was an icy mask as he pointed at the phone and commanded, "See for yourself!"
Prompted, Jasper Grant hurriedly picked up the phone and started watching.
The phone was playing a video of the entanglement between Aria Sterling, Shelly Sterling, and Iris Jennings outside Azurewave Manor.
Though the video was silent, the picture was crystal clear. It plainly showed Shelly Sterling raising her hand first, about to slap Aria Sterling.
The staff at Azurewave Manor protected Aria Sterling.
After watching, Jasper Grant was stunned. His hands, clutching the phone, were trembling nonstop.
He looked at Landon Hawthorne in terror, stuttering, "Un-Un-Un... Uncle Landon... I..."
"Do you understand now?" Landon Hawthorne asked coldly. "They were the ones pestering to see my Aria. And when my Aria met them, they tried to strike her."
